Job Title: Construction Project Manager (Lighting & DMX Control)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end construction projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of architectural lighting systems, including DMX lighting control systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret lighting drawings, control schematics (DMX and DALI), and technical specifications.
• Supervise site activities and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when required.
• Manage procurement, material planning, and logistics for lighting and control system components.
• Ensure proper integration of lighting systems with AV systems, BMS, and control platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning, including DMX addressing and programming.
• Liaise with authorities and ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., BCA, LEW, PE requirements in Singapore).
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage contracts, variation orders, and project cost control.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design intent and client requirements.
• Support project handover, including documentation, training, and defect rectification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management, preferably in lighting or M&E projects.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in DMX lighting control systems.
• Familiarity with DALI, KNX, or similar lighting control systems is an advantage.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects (e.g., commercial buildings, malls, hotels, façade lighting installations).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and control schematics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore regulations and standards is preferred.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DMX Control System programming and integration or similar control platforms
• Hands-on experience in DMX programming and commissioning
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
