Duties and Responsibilities

To be responsible for show readiness of the Singapore Air Force Museum, for daily operations and for Museum’s public engagement/signature events, special programmes and outreach in areas of event planning and operations.

To be responsible for the appropriate staff management/scheduling of and training for event operations, and ensure that staffing, merchandise QC/inventory and event logistics are planned efficiently with resource maximisation.

To support ticketing/visitorship tracking and volunteer management, engagement and deployment.

• Enforce and adhere to Museum’s SOPs and best practise & procedures.
• Produce detailed schedules with staffing assignments, logistical requirements, inventory allocation and milestones for upcoming events and outreach
• Support the close working relationship with facility management and other departments by maintaining a master museum calendar
• Facilitate and coordinate administrative procedures, including outreach engagement forms, merchandise QC, inventory tracking and documentation & etc
• Research and keep updated on latest events, programmes and other trending experiences in the market
• Work closely with Audience Development, Partnerships and Exhibits development to provide direct and significant inputs to events/outreach engagement proposals and special exhibition operations
• Oversee the day-to-day operational readiness of FOH, exhibits and closing duties, and respond to emergency operational situations
• Manage vendors related to events/programmes and oversee their performance to ensure quality provisions and service excellence
• Coordinate outreach logistics and oversee contract labour/volunteers for travelling exhibitions including load in and load out, installation and teardown
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirement

• At least 3 - 5 years of experience working in events planning/events management
• Diploma/ITE in Events Management, Business or Equivalent
• Candidates are required to carry out some physical activity while performing duties of operational nature

• Manage the monthly content calendar for two brands across all platforms

What You Will Do

• Act as the focal point for all AOG-related matters, responding promptly to notifications and initiating the necessary protocols.

• Initiates immediate contact (phone call) with P&WC personnel during AOG or urgent situations.

• Accurately assesses the customer's needs and requirements.

• Provides logistical and commercial support for service-related problems encountered in operation of P&WC engines.

• Always work to provide the best return to service plan to P&WC customers

• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, including airline operations, maintenance teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

• Ensure clear, timely, and concise communication of AOG status, progress, and resolution timelines to all involved parties until the aircraft has returned to service

• Maintains a high standard of etiquette and protocol with the customer during any form of contact.

• Coordinate the allocation of resources and ensure that they are deployed in a timely manner to expedite the troubleshooting and repair process.

• Liaise with maintenance providers, part providers, and replacement asset provider to secure necessary manpower, parts, expertise, engine, and support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of AOG events, including timelines, actions taken, and resolutions achieved.

• May be responsible to conduct and lead the CFirst AOG meeting on each business day.

• Responsible to generate and issue the CFirst AOG report on each business day.
