The role

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for advising on and selling aftercare services for existing installations. To strengthen customer relationships and increase revenue, the Customer Support department focuses on services such as maintenance, inspections, upgrades, service contracts, and training. A key part of the role is dedicated account management, ensuring our clients receive optimal and efficient support. Throughout the entire process, you will be responsible for one or more specific clients. You will work closely together with your fellow Customer Support Engineers.

What will you do?

• Proactively approach your assigned clients with the goal of generating new service and Customer Support assignments.
• Prepare and issue realistic and accurate quotations for all aftercare activities in a timely manner.
• Record activities in ISAH (ERP system), review and prepare project calculations.
• Diligently follow up on potential assignments and outstanding quotations.
• Conduct negotiations within established margins and issue order confirmations to customers.
• Ensure proper management of project budgets and documentation within the assignment scope, while providing accurate information both verbally and in writing.
• Be available to address urgent issues (including through the on-call service), initiate appropriate solutions, and deploy resources where needed.
• Share responsibility within the team for the service hotline. As part of a rotating on-call schedule, you will serve as the (secondary) point of contact for clients for a period of seven days.

What do we expect from you?

• A bachelor’s degree in Technical Business Administration or Degree in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical) preferred.
• Preferably 3 – 5 years of work experience, with a technical background being an advantage.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Analytical skills with the ability to gather and process relevant information and formulate solutions.
• Strong communication skills; able to clearly and convincingly convey information both one-on-one and in group settings.
• Commercially driven mindset.
• Flexible and available to participate in the on-call service for urgent issues.
• Experience with ERP systems isa plus.

IAM Operations

• Manage the day-to-day operations of IAM systems, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management of user and machine identities.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory and LDAP directory services, ensuring accurate and up-to-date identity records across the environment.
• Operate and support One Identity solutions, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Process access requests in a timely manner, ensuring requests are fulfilled in accordance with established policies and approval workflows.
• Monitor IAM systems for anomalies, policy violations, and potential security threats, escalating and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IAM configurations, procedures, access records, and operational runbooks.

Access Governance and Compliance

• Support periodic access reviews and IAM audits, identifying and remediating access risks in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in tracking IAM-related risks and remediation action plans, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Generate reports on access activity, identity lifecycle status, and compliance posture for management and audit purposes.

Stakeholder Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for IAM-related issues and queries from users and IT teams, providing clear and timely resolution.
• Work closely with the broader IT and security teams to ensure identity and access controls remain aligned with business needs.
• Maintain service quality and operational consistency as the team transitions project-focused members to new IAM initiatives.
