SUSS International Office (INTO) is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented administrator who is also confident in digital content and design work to support the initial setup, coordination, and outreach activities of the office. About the Job

The Procurement Senior Manager/Manager, reporting directly to the Assistant Director, is responsible for managing the university's procurement activities. This role focuses on ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services, leading a high-performing team, and driving the successful implementation and adoption of the S2P system to modernize the university's procurement operations.

S2P System Implementation & Management

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the S2P system, (Coupa), ensuring seamless integration with existing financial systems (SAP S4/HANA).

Job Responsibilites

Finance – Accounts Payable, Staff Claims and Fixed Assets

Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments made to vendors and staff, supporting smooth financial operations across the organisation.

• To review and approve payment transactions following verification by the Finance Executive, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

• To review and enhance Accounts Payable process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• To oversee the timely processing and recording of payments to vendors for month-end closing.

• To ensure prompt and accurate processing of staff claims in accordance with company policies.

• To review and ensure that the Fixed Asset Register is properly updated and processes are optimised to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.

• To provide guidance and advice to staff on daily finance operations and procedures.

Finance – General Ledger, Monthly Closing and Statutory Reporting

Responsible for ensuring timely financial records are maintained and effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders.

• To review monthly closing activities and financial reports submitted to NTU and Management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

•  To support the presentation of quarterly financial results to management.

•  To review yearly financial reporting for year-end audited annual financial statements for AC and Board’s approval.

•  To liaise with both internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes

•  To oversee GST reporting, annual filing of statutory accounts, filing of returns to Charity Portal and Department of Statistic etc.

 Financial Processes and Governance

Update of SOPs

Responsible for ensuring that financial policies and processes are effective and comply with statutory requirements to support NIEC’s business.

•  To establish, review and refine financial process (ongoing) to support NIEC operations and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

•  To drive annual SOP review exercise for Finance & Procurement Division

•  To drive annual SOP review exercise

 Any other assignments

• To communicate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate internal audits, external audit, queries from MOE Deskhead, ECDA etc.

• To drive Finance & Admin special projects (eg system implementation)

• Any other assignment as tasked by Head (Finance & Admin) or Senior Management

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA qualifications, with at least 8 years' experience of relevant experience.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

• Strong understanding or experience in key finance functions including Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, GST, Audits, Update of SOPs etc).

• Good knowledge of accounting standards (FRSs).

• Meticulous, detail-oriented and hands-on approach to work.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

• Proactive, independent and and sound in judgement, with high level of professionalism and integrity.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint).

• Experience with Accounting/Enterprise Resource Planning software (eg: SAP) is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

Covenant Kids

1.      Work with the Church School Superintendent (CS) and Committee members to organise Children’s Church Services. Identify, purchase, customise, and/or develop learning materials and resources that engage children in Bible-learning activities.

2.      Organise seasonal special events for children, including planning and executing the annual key event, Vacation Bible School (VBS).

3.      To assist in teachers’ training by organising or identifying at least two courses a year for the teachers to attend, which will develop their teaching effectiveness and/or help them grow spiritually.

4.      Identify, purchase, customize, and/or develop teaching materials and resources for teachers. Help teachers to customize the teaching materials as needed.

5.      Work closely with CK Committee in planning and be in charge of administering the total work of the Sunday School, including maintaining general records and annual Sunday School budget.

Ministry at MGS

1.       Partner with the Christian Ministry Staff (CMS) to support Christian activities and outreach at Methodist Girls' School (Primary), including, when needed, sharing devotions at assemblies and chapel services. Serve as a consistent bridge between church and school, being a familiar presence who connects students to church life and supports their spiritual growth.

2.       Serve alongside teachers and leaders in the 1st Singapore Company GB at MGS to provide spiritual input and pastoral care. Support key programmes (e.g. devotions, Bible studies) to nurture the spiritual formation of GB girls and facilitate their integration into church life.

Ideal Candidate:

1.      Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

2.      Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

3.      Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently, 

4.      A team player who drives collaboration across ministries, Children Ministry team and volunteers.

5.      Experience in Children’s Ministry is a plus.

6.      Theological training is an advantage.

7.      Must be able to work on Sundays and be present at Sunday School to organise and ensure smooth operations of the Sunday School worship service.
