You will be building and enhancing a core component that is being used by 40+ Autodesk products across Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. You will work with multiple groups of talented engineers across the globe to help them integrate the component across Autodesk Desktop Product offering 

Responsibilities 

• Enhance and maintain the Identity Desktop SDK components across windows, Linux and mac platforms 

• Research, Design and Implement the next gen Identity Desktop SDK to support forward looking features of the Autodesk Identity and Access Management Systems. 

• Design and implement the product as per the specifications. 

• Document key product decisions, design details and developer integration requirements in internal wikis 

• Be responsible for the overall Quality of the SDK 

• Write unit tests, integration tests and fix bugs to maintain the quality of the deliverable. 

• Work with the internal teams to help integrate the SDK. 

 Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 

• 10+ years of professional experience in commercial cross platform desktop software development and delivery for Linux, mac and windows. 

• Expertise in object-oriented design and implementation. 

• Strong experience in building high quality desktop applications using C++ 

• In-depth knowledge of latest C++ standards - C++17, C++11 

• Knowledge of Python, CI/CD pipeline, testing frameworks

• Strong understanding of desktop security concepts 

• Exposure to native network and crypto libraries across Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. 

• Proficient in Inter Process communication (IPC), multi-threaded application development  

• Experience in building software using agile software development processes. 

• Experience in building resilient and fault tolerant code  

• Experience in using Boost library 

• Extensive understanding of Software design patterns  

 Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in building products or services with large enterprise or global customers and the desire for continuous learning and growth 

• You are enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with internal customers and peers 

• Ability to work collaboratively with a large group of engineers / product managers external to the team to help them integrate the components in their products. 

• Knowledge of Go programming

Job Description

The National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites application for one (1) Research Fellow position in the area of resilient and circular asphalt pavement materials. The candidate is expected to work in research projects related to the topic funded by the Defence Science and Technology Agency of Singapore. The candidate will be working with Associate Professor Ong Ghim Ping Raymond from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, College of Design and Engineering (CDE)(https://cde.nus.edu.sg/cee/staff/ong-ghim-ping-raymond/) in fundamental and translational research in the development of new asphalt pavement design guidelines.
 

The selected individual is required to:

•    Perform laboratory and field experiments on circular resilient airport asphalt pavements as core focus.
•    Work on mechanistic empirical pavement design and modelling for airports.
•    Develop state of the art solutions for high performance pavement system and work closely with contractors and agencies on field construction implementation to ensure solution is commercially viable.
•    Manage research project progress, grant administration, and finance.
•    Work on other relevant tasks set out by the project PI. 

Job Requirements

•    Possess a PhD in Civil Engineering or a related area. 
•    Applicants with relevant experience in both experimental and field asphalt pavement design, standard development and construction would be favourably considered. 
•    Strong written and spoken communication and has the ability to present research findings in publications and professional meetings (including with agencies and the industry).
•    Values teamwork and has good team working skills. 
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
