Job Description

Should be well versed with the Finance & Accounting functional knowledge in PTP.
Understand the overall flow of the F&A business and should be well versed with the entire cycle of domain.

Conducting Quality checks as per sampling strategy Daily, Weekly & Monthly reporting.
Tracking and reporting SLA’s. Maintain customer complaints and perform RCA and initiate Corrective action and Preventive action along with Operation team.

Conduct Team hurdles to update the group on Quality related issues, calibration on new updates, common errors categories. and measures to avoid errors.
Enhancing performance of the team based on SLA’s through Quality Control check, Action plan and expert analysis.
Worked in PTP team having Accounts Payable process knowledge.
Knowledge of Invoice Processing.
Knowledge of Vendor Master data.
Knowledge of Travel and Expense.

The Opportunity: 

As the Senior Consumer Products Associate, you will act as the strategic partner to Mattel’s Master Licensee in India, working closely with the CP Manager to accelerate growth, strengthen execution, and protect brand integrity. This role balances commercial strategy with operational discipline — driving joint business planning, ensuring compliance, and enabling speed-to-market.

As the key bridge between Mattel and the Master Licensee, this position plays a critical role in unlocking performance, ensuring governance, and elevating partnership standards in the Indian market.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

1. Strategic Partnership & Growth

• Act as the primary day-to-day business lead for the Master Licensee relationship.
• Co-develop annual joint business plans covering revenue growth, retail expansion, and marketing initiatives.
• Lead quarterly business reviews to assess performance (sales, compliance, innovation) and identify growth levers.
• Align brand strategies with local execution to ensure market relevance and commercial impact.

2. Operational Excellence

• Drive end-to-end coordination of product submissions, marketing approvals, and cross-functional reviews (Creative, Legal, Brand).
• Optimize approval workflows to improve speed and efficiency.
• Deliver training to the Master Licensee on brand guidelines, compliance standards, and retail best practices.
• Build strong, transparent, and trust-based working relationships.

3. Financial & Compliance Governance

• Monitor sales performance, royalty reporting, and market share trends.
• Ensure full contractual compliance across reporting, payments, and documentation.
• Identify financial risks or discrepancies and escalate proactively.
• Provide ongoing market intelligence on competition, consumer behavior, and retail trends.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Act as the connector between the Master Licensee and internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Marketing).
• Share India-specific insights to strengthen regional CP strategy and execution.

Relevant Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in AP function in a medium/large sized corporate/MNC

Role Summary:

Individual will be responsible for Invoice Processing-Accounts payable, Vendor Helpdesk and Query resolution, Payments processing.

Essential:

1. Have worked in SAP environment having T-code knowledge
2. Experience in shared services / customer facing environment
3. Have fair knowledge of the Procure to Pay Process
4. Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP/DTP)
5. Good Word, Excel & PowerPoint skills
6. Good verbal and written communication skills
7. VIM-SAP working knowledge will be added advantage
8. Well-in Confidence to handle Multi-Tasking ability and well-verse into it

Overall Project/Task description

1. Exercise control on open GRIR, open Advances report, critical vendor report
2. Accounts Payable Vendor helpdesk knowledge- Handling Query Management
3. Verify payable information in the system & highlight any data discrepancy
4. Responsible for documenting bounced and fraudulent payments and notifying the proper authorities as and when such documents are created
5. Respond to queries in a timely and accurate manner
6. Managing escalations from vendors including periodical reconciliation of Statement of Accounts
7. Assist on month end closing end to end
8. Should have working knowledge of Direct Taxes (income tax TDS) / Indirect Taxes (GST)
9. Have handled import material vendor payments and related services (CHA, Customs Duty)
10. Create data trackers for supporting monitoring activities
11. Ensuring the SLA on timeline for processing AP Invoices is met
12. AP Ageing Knowledge to ensure debit balance are timely taken care
13. Timely reversal and rectification to be taken care
14. Identifying opportunities for automation of manual process
15. Assist team leader in a timely and appropriate manner with regards to Payments and payroll activities
16. Knowledge and co-ordination with Treasury process to sync on payment authorization and execution.
17. Mode of payment, knowledge and how it gets execute as per process and vendor requirement.
