JobDescription

Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end voyageoperations for Supramax / Ultramax dry bulk vessels and ensuring smoothcoordination between all relevant parties, including ship masters, agents,charterers, brokers, port authorities and internal teams.

KeyResponsibilities

• Manage full post-fixture operations for Supramax / Ultramax dry bulk vessels.
• Coordinate with ship masters, agents, charterers, brokers, port authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth vessel turnaround.
• Monitor voyage progress, port operations, cargo loading / discharging and vessel schedules.
• Handle laytime calculations, demurrage / despatch matters and related claims.
• Review and follow up on charter party terms, operational instructions and voyage requirements.
• Prepare and monitor voyage estimates, voyage expenses and P&L tracking.
• Follow up on bunker planning, port disbursements, freight, hire and other voyage-related costs.
• Handle post-fixture documentation, shipping documents and daily operational correspondence.
• Maintain accurate voyage records and ensure all operational files are properly updated.
• Support management and the commercial team on operational matters when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dry bulk shipping operations.
• Experience handling Supramax / Ultramax vessel operations will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of charter party terms, laytime, demurrage / despatch, bunker planning and port operations.
• Able to manage multiple voyages and work under time-sensitive situations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to liaise effectively with ship masters, agents, charterers, brokers and internal teams.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate, read and write effectively in both languages, as the role requires regular coordination and written correspondence with English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and shipping-related documentation.

PreferredSkills

• Experience in post-fixture operations.
• Knowledge of voyage estimate and P&L tracking.
• Familiarity with dry bulk shipping documentation and operational claims.
