We are a boutique material studio specialising in decorative wall finishes, architectural panels, and curated surface solutions for interior designers, architects and builders.
We are looking for a Design & Material Consultant to support client advisory, material specification, and project coordination across various interior and architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise designers, architects, and clients on suitable material and finishes selection based on project requirements
- Present and recommend products including decorative finishes, panels, and surface systems
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and material presentations for projects
- Coordinate with internal teams, applicators, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
- Support sample development and mock-ups for client approval
- Attend site visits and provide guidance on material application and detailing
- Ensure proper documentation of project specifications and materials used
- Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, contractors, and industry partners
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 1year of experience in interior design, material consultancy, or related industry
- Strong interest and understanding of materials, finishes, and surface applications
- Good sense of design, colour coordination, and detailing
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly with clients and project teams
- Experience in client-facing roles is an advantage
- Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable with site coordination and working with contractors
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of decorative finishes, laminates, or architectural materials
- Familiarity with basic drawings or detailing
- Experience preparing quotations or project proposals
