Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Pricing Strategy

• Conduct regular market research to benchmark product pricing against competitors
• Develop and recommend pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability
• Monitor market trends, supplier pricing movements, and cost fluctuations

2. Supplier Sourcing & Management

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
• Ensure supplier reliability, product quality, and timely delivery

3. Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Analyze sales data and trends to forecast demand accurately
• Plan procurement quantities to ensure optimal stock levels
• Prevent overstocking and stock shortages through effective planning

4. Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are always in stock
• Coordinate with operations and sales teams on stock requirements
• Implement reorder strategies and maintain stock efficiency

5. Product Performance Monitoring

• Track product sales performance and identify slow-moving or underperforming items
• Provide timely updates and recommendations on whether to continue or discontinue products
• Work closely with management to optimize product mix

6. Reporting & Analysis

Requirements

• Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (FMCG/F&B preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing and demand forecasting
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Excel or inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions

1. Purchase Order (PO) Management

• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders accurately
• Ensure all PO details (pricing, quantity, delivery date) are correct before submission
• Maintain proper records of all purchase orders

2. Supplier Coordination & Follow-ups

• Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery timelines
• Follow up proactively on pending orders and delays
