Customer Service Officer (Logistics)
We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude, be responsive, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with customers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding sales inquiries, service requests, and delivery-related matters, while providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery arrangements, updates, and any service-related issues while managing customer expectations professionally.
- Process customer orders accurately and coordinate order fulfillment closely with drivers and the operations team to ensure timely delivery.
- Update and maintain accurate records of customer orders, delivery schedules, and operational information within internal systems.
- Manage a fleet of drivers on daily delivery operations, monitor delivery progress, and handle any operational or performance-related issues that may arise.
- Work closely with team members across departments to ensure smooth coordination and efficient day-to-day operational execution.
- Support the team in resolving customer issues, delivery challenges, and operational exceptions in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service, logistics coordination, supply chain operations, freight forwarding, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage customer expectations professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and logistics management systems.
- Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders including customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as the role requires close coordination with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Candidate is required to work on a rotational schedule on weekends and public holidays. Compensation will be provided accordingly.
