Responsibilities:

The Underwater Sonar Field Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of underwater sonar and acoustic sensor systems deployed at sites. The role requires strong hands-on technical capability in sonar, underwater acoustics, electronics, and system integration, with the ability to operate independently in challenging field environments. The engineer will work closely with customers, shipyard teams, and internal engineering groups to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal sonar  system performance.

• Install, configure, commission, and test underwater sonar systems, including transducers, arrays, processing units, interfaces, and associated power and UW network infrastructure within the system is operational and serviceable at sites. 
• Coordination with Authority to perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on sonar and underwater acoustic systems to ensure operational availability and system reliability 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot sonar system faults spanning hardware, cabling, connectors, acoustic sensors, signal conditioning units, and embedded software to minimise system downtime. 
• Support system integration, alignment, calibration, and functional verification of sonar systems, including during upgrades, retrofits, or system modifications. 
• Conduct on-site testing, verification, and acceptance activities, including system health checks, operational testing, and post-maintenance validation. 
• Provide technical support, operational guidance, and basic training to customers, operators, and end-users on sonar system operation and maintenance. 
• Prepare accurate service reports, fault findings, maintenance records, and configuration documentation in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

Description:

• Greet customers in a welcoming manner, always maintain a professional and customer-centric approach
• Proactively engage customers to promote bank account and debit card and sharing of product knowledge
• Acquire new-to-bank customers and contribute to daily sales targets
• Guide customers through the digital account opening and application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of submissions
• Provide clear and friendly assistance on products, promotions, features, and benefits
• Assist customers with basic banking enquiries and direct them to appropriate channels when needed
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements during customer onboarding
• Maintain basic housekeeping

Period:

• 2 months

Location:

• Central

Working Hours:

• 11am to 7pm, 5 days per week on a shift basis between Monday and Sunday (including weekends)
• Rest days will be scheduled by the supervisor
• Please note that the working schedule and timings may be subject to changes based on operational requirements

Salary:

• $15/hr

Requirements:

• Minimum A level/Diploma /undergrad are welcome
• Ability to work as part of a team and take independent initiative without direct supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident, and sales-driven personality
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Customer service experience or sales experience is an advantage
• Comfortable approaching and engaging customers in a retail environment

This pivotal role will provide you with the opportunity to drive product innovation and develop a robust product strategy that aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in product management to spearhead initiatives that cater to our diverse customer base. 

Job Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap: 

a.      Define and maintain the product roadmap for Satellite Communication Products. 

b.     Align product direction with immediate demands, market opportunities, and long-term industry trends. 

c.      Develop products with unique selling points while addressing emerging technology trends. 

Market Research and Opportunity Identification:  

a.      Define target customer segments and map ecosystems to establish strong market links. 

b.     Conduct thorough analysis of total addressable markets (TAM) and segment-specific growth projections (CAGR). 

c.      Report on relevant market trends and competitive landscapes across various sectors. 

d.     Deliver clear financial projections encompassing revenue, costs, and expected profit margins over a three-year horizon. 

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Development:  

a.      Design strategies to effectively introduce products to target markets, employing diverse marketing channels and sales strategies. 

b.     Cultivate strategic channel-based partnerships and relationships to magnify market reach. 

c.      Identify and monitor emerging electronics technologies relevant to Satcom (e.g. 5G NTN, 3GPP). 

Channel Strategy Development:  

a.      Define the go-to-market strategy for channel partners. 

b.     Identify target markets and partner profiles (distributors, resellers, system integrators). 

c.      Align channel strategy with overall product roadmap and business objectives and defence capabilities needs. 

d.     Cultivate strategic relationships and partnerships to magnify market reach and engagement with early adopters. 

Product Development Lifecycle Management: 

a.      Collaborate with development teams to articulate comprehensive product roadmaps that align with strategic objectives. 

b.     Evaluate technology readiness levels (TRL) and identify areas requiring additional R&D investment. 

c.      Forge commercial partnerships with industry stakeholders. 

Technical Feasibility Studies:  

a.      Assess the resource requirements for product development, including skilled labour and manufacturing capabilities. 

b.     Evaluate the product's scalability potential to ensure it meets growing customer demands and market expansion. 

Comprehensive Risk Assessment 

a.      Identify any potential operational barriers, including regulatory approvals and customer adoption issues. 

b.     Evaluate competitive risks, including threats from existing players and new market entrants. 

c.      Analyze customer demand fluctuations and market variations that may impact overall projections.

Requirements:

• A degree in Engineering, or a related field is required. 
• >7 years of experience in Satellite Communications industry, particularly in product management, is preferred. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
