We are seeking an Engineer specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our dynamic Cloud Business Unit at ST Engineering. This position involves being responsible for providing deep mechanical engineering expertise to ensure high availability, efficiency, and reliability of all mechanical systems within the data centre. • Improve resilience and uptime of mechanical systems through continuous improvement programs.
• Lead mechanical Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for cooling or mechanical incidents.
• Maintain and update mechanical schematics, sequence of operations (SOO), and emergency procedures.
• Support thermal load studies, bottleneck analysis, and cooling capacity planning.
• Evaluate redundancy strategies (N, N+1, 2N) and mechanical failover scenarios.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, technical drawings, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Serve as SME for construction, renovation, and expansion projects involving mechanical systems.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, IST, and integrated cooling system performance testing.
• Ensure all new installations meet safety, efficiency, and uptime requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and codes (ASHRAE, ISO, NFPA, local building and mechanical codes).
• Enforce mechanical safety protocols and review risk assessments and PTW/LOTO processes as applicable.
• Maintain accurate mechanical documentation, system reports, performance logs, and audit records.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale HVAC/ Mechanical engineering.

You will guide the team by sharing best practices, processes, and methodologies. You will be working side by side with the network core team in ensuring network availability and serviceability for a secure, resilient and stable distributed environment. Your primary responsibility is to support and maintain the network access layer for our enterprise networks. You will manage access to the wired and wireless networks; ensuring last-mile connectivity for multiple locations. In addition, you will also manage the network communications rooms at these locations; providing cabling interconnect services for structured cabling, and liaising with Facilities Management to ensure uninterrupted power and cooling delivery to the rooms. You may be called upon to support certain network functions in the Data Centre.

Manage wired and wireless network access infrastructure & support Data Centre network operations

• Administer and support network infrastructure including network routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers, AAA servers and encryptors
• Respond and diagnose tickets related to network access and performance issues
• Service and close support tickets to relocate or add client endpoints' wired network access
• Service and close support tickets to resolve client endpoints' wireless access
• Troubleshoot, triage and resolve client endpoints' 802.1X authentication/authorization access issues and escalate, if necessary, L2 and L3 issues
• Monitor availability of network access and provide immediate response and/or investigation to system alerts
• Troubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis of incidents replacing failed network components
• Support and perform routine automation tasks to ensure compliance for secure configuration, configuration backup management and routine firmware upgrades/updates

Manage Network Comms Rooms at sites and Data Centre

• Standardise and provision cable interconnects for network access and Data Centre
• Respond and attend to alerts to resolve UPS and PDU faults
• Work with contractors to replace faulty rackmount UPS and PDU for Network Comms Rooms
• Interface and coordinate with Facilities Management for M&E issues (air-con, electrical, fire safety) for Network Comms Rooms
• Escort external vendors/contractors for network related activities

Inventory and Documentation

• Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of the environment
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on rack layout and cabling interconnects
• Manage and maintain up-to-date inventory control
• Perform periodic inventory audits and review
• Adhere to organisation procedure to retire obsolete equipment

We are seeking an experienced AWS Platform Lead to lead the end-to-end onboarding of new AWS accounts and workloads into our AWS Landing Zone environment, built with AWS Control Tower and aligned with CIS and AWS Foundational Security Best Practices.

As a AWS Platform Lead, you will act as the primary liaison between application teams, cloud engineering, and security teams — ensuring each new AWS account is provisioned, configured, and handed over to operations with compliance, security, and governance fully in place.

Onboarding Process Management

• Own and manage the AWS account onboarding process from request intake to production readiness.
• Work closely with application and business teams to understand requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate with Cloud Engineering, Security, Networking, and DevOps teams for necessary configurations.

Account Provisioning & Configuration

• Oversee AWS account creation via Control Tower Account Factory.
• Ensure baseline controls (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail, etc.) are enforced as part of Infrastructure as Code.
• Confirm network connectivity (VPC, Transit Gateway, etc.) and restrictions are correctly applied.

Compliance & Security Assurance

• Validate that CIS and AWS Foundational Security Best Practices are met before handover.
• Facilitate reviews with Security Engineers for compliance posture and remediation.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related queries.
• Provide onboarding status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Maintain onboarding documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base for self-service guidance.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency gains in onboarding workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed automation pipelines for account setup.

Qualities We Value

• 5+ years in enterprise scale IT operations, cloud service delivery, or project management (AWS experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, IAM, networking, and core security services.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and security best practices.
• Proven ability to manage structured workflows and process documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technical exposure in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation); CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI); Security & compliance (IAM, Security Hub, AWS Config).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant AWS certifications are a plus.

• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.).  AWS certification will be advantageous
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
