Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts research and analysis across multi assets, primarily in equities (sector, industry and individual company analysis) and recommend investment ideas
Pricing of structured products with proprietary in house software
Use portfolio management software to generate portfolio reports and analytics for monthly, quarterly and annual meetings
Assists in trade execution and risk monitoring with P&L and position reconciliation
Liaising with external stakeholders (interbank counterparties, custodian banks, asset managers) for pricing and market colours
Liaising with internal stakeholders (CAs and other CAAs) for trade ideas, order collation and execution
Ensuring that all investment compliance regulations are met.
Maintain up to date information on the latest economic trend in the country, latest and any updates in the financial markets and prepare weekly and monthly summaries and reports on current market trends and news
Enhance or expand investment portfolios through consultative reports and informed recommendations on fresh investment opportunities and resources.
Develop detailed financial models and projections to enable and support investment decision making
Assist in portfolio construction from asset allocation to stock selection and risk monitoring
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in all academic disciplines are welcome.
At least 3 years of work experience in trading desk, asset management and portfolio management.
Excellent language skills and a global mindset.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
Experience in entrepreneurial environments and the flexibility to work in both highly structured corporate settings and less structured start‐up environments
