The Finance & Admin Executive supports SID’s finance operations and corporate services. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable processes, assisting with audits and committee meetings, and coordinating office administration to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth organizational functioning.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities - Finance Operations (AP and AR Management)

• Managed a full/partial set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and process supplier payments and refunds, ensuring proper documentation, compliance with internal controls, and timely execution
• Record and maintain supplier invoices in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy before month-end closing to support reconciliation and reporting
• Assist with accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate financial tracking
• Prepare and verify funding documents for government projects, ensuring timely submission to meet funding requirements

Primary Responsibilities - Office Administration

• Manage routine office administration tasks such as ordering stationery and pantry supplies, and liaising with vendors to support daily operations
• Coordinate internal communications related to office schedules, cleaning services, and operational updates
• Obtain vendor quotations, compare service options, and prepare recommendations for management approval

Secondary Responsibilities - Governance & Committee Support

• Prepare clear and concise meeting notes for Finance and Audit Committee meetings, capturing key discussions, decisions, and follow-up actions
• Assist in coordinating board meetings, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM), ensuring smooth execution and proper governance documentation
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for Council, Executive Committee, and Nominating & Governance Committee meetings

Required Competencies & Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Higher in  Accounting qualification.
• Minimum 3years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills

Preferred Competencies & Qualifications

• Prior experience working in non-profit organisations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Senior Executive, Board Programmes to expand SID Academy’s corporate client base in Singapore and the region by driving programme adoption and supporting business development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research target companies to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for SID Academy programmes
• Manage inbound inquiries and conduct targeted outbound outreach to generate and qualify leads through needs analysis
• Maintain accurate client data, relationships, and track revenue activities to support sales goals
• Deliver presentations, reports, and proposals on programme metrics and achievements to internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee process efficiency, budget, and cost management for key projects to ensure smooth operations
• Support the Senior Manager throughout the contracting cycle, including meeting preparation, proposal submission, and contract closing
• Develop and customise proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials that clearly communicate SID Academy’s value proposition
• Collaborate with associate faculty and programme delivery teams to align training solutions with client needs
• Represent SID professionally at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance brand presence
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving corporate board needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven ability to sell professional services, executive education, or corporate training solutions to senior-level stakeholders (C-Suite, V-Suite, D-suite, Board Directors)
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with strong executive presence
• Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in B2B business development, for-profit education, or account management (motivated fresh graduates considered for Executive level)
• Genuine interest in and understanding of corporate governance, business ethics, or directorship
• Experience working within a professional membership body, non-profit, or academic institution
• Existing network of contacts within HR, L&D, or corporate leadership communities in Singapore
