Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Traffic Supervisor (Ships Cargo) to support our marine and bunker operations. This role involves coordinating cargo and bunker transfer activities onboard vessels and ashore, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations within Singapore port waters and surrounding operational areas.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise bunker and cargo transfer activities onboard bunker tankers and ashore to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Monitor loading, discharging, and ship-to-ship transfer activities to maintain operational integrity
- Liaise effectively with vessel masters, ship officers, customers, surveyors, terminal operators, agents, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and maritime regulatory requirements during all operations
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational records, cargo documents, and voyage reports for audit and operational tracking
- Monitor vessel schedules and coordinate operational deployment
- Attend onboard operations and conduct vessel inspections to verify compliance and operational readiness
- Investigate and report operational incidents, delays, or discrepancies to support timely resolution and continuous improvement
- Support emergency response and contingency planning to mitigate operational risks
- Participate actively in operational meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Required competencies and certifications
- Willing and physically able to board vessels and work in a marine operational setting.
- Capacity to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced marine operational setting
- Willingness to work beyond normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays, as operationally required
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant experience in shipping, marine, port, logistics, tanker, or bunker operations preferred
- Knowledge of cargo handling, bunker operations, and maritime safety practices is advantageous
- Effective communication skills to engage with vessel crew, customers, and operational stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Location: Singapore (Onboard Vessels and Ashore)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Working Environment: This role requires regular boarding of bunker tankers and other vessels, working outdoors in marine conditions, attending vessels at anchorages, terminals, and port facilities, and supporting round-the-clock marine operations.
