Lead with Heart & Purpose
Set the tone for a warm, respectful, and positive school culture
Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and care

Drive Quality Teaching & Learning
Guide and support teachers in delivering meaningful, play-based and inquiry-driven learning
Ensure strong classroom practices that reflect intentional teaching and joyful learning
Work closely with teachers to strengthen lesson planning, observation, and interactions
Grow and Develop Your Team
Coach, mentor, and support teachers in their professional journey
Build a collaborative culture where everyone feels supported and valued
Identify strengths, guide development, and celebrate growth within the team
Build Strong Parent Partnerships
Foster open, warm, and respectful relationships with families
Communicate with sincerity, clarity, and care
Partner with parents to support each child’s development and experience
Ensure Smooth & Thoughtful Operations
Oversee daily centre operations to ensure consistency, safety, and quality
Maintain a well-organised, welcoming, and engaging environment
Ensure compliance with ECDA requirements and centre standards
Uphold Quality & Standards
Lead the centre in meeting quality benchmarks (e.g. SPARK)
Ensure documentation, processes, and practices reflect high standards
Drive continuous improvement while keeping children’s needs at the centre
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education (recognised in Singapore)
Certified Principal (L2) with ECDA-recognised leadership certification
Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a preschool setting
Good understanding of ECDA regulations and quality frameworks (e.g. SPARK)
