JOB TITLE: QUANTITY SURVEYOR

QS Job scope :

Handle the tendering process such as measurement, sourcing quotation, quantities taking-off and etc.

Familiar with tendering platforms : Ariba, Coupa, GeBiz, Sesami, Tenderboard, VendorCafe etc.

Study, understand & interpret the requirement for tender submission.

Carry out the necessary preparation and arrangement for tender submission.

Source for required materials and vendors, handle interim progress claim, variation of sub-contractors’ progress claims and variation orders

To source for more suppliers, sub-cons and vendors on top of our existing one for more competitive pricing strategy

Handle project from award of contract till completion including final accounts.

Work scope includes handling and award of sub contracts, progress claims and etc.

To undertake specific task/assignment as and when directed by the Management

Attend Site Meetings and take charge of all clients' request / feedbacks.

Business Development Job Scope :

To help improve and establish better relationship with our existing client and partners

To source for and obtain more opportunities and business deals from potential and recurring customers

To come up with a strategy for the company to secure more projects and sales volume, while implementing measures to improve and increase profit margin and decrease wastage to become leaner.

REQUIREMENT :

Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management / Business Development or relevant/related industry qualification.

At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in QS or Contracts / Tender field in Commercial and Interior Fit-out Projects.

Able to INDEPENDANTLY tender for a project, from getting Quotations, checking Supplier Prices, preparing Tender Document, pricing accurately and competitively to help the company successfully secure projects.

SHARP and sensitive to numbers and cost involved, with little to no room for errors / mistakes.

Meticulous and Detailed in nature / personality : due to work requirement of dealing with important contracts and figures.

Be able to manage project costing and familiar with prices, so as to control the cost and expenses of the project to ensure project is profitable.

Proficient in English and necessary documentation/administrative work (Eg : Professional email correspondence with client and relevant consultants/parties).

JOB TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER

OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE :

1) Maximize project efficiency and profitability.

2) Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion.

3) Handle all relevant paperwork pertaining to project being assigned.

4) Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation.

5) Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel.

6) Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle.

DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1) Assist the Project Manager / Director to establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy.

2) Prepare scheduled and necessary updates of construction activities and analysis of manpower and equipment required.

3) Create and administer appropriate testing protocols to monitor project performance.

4) Inform all supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

5) Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to Project Director to keep him constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules.

6) Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications.

REQUIREMENTS :

1) Strong working knowledge of design software, AutoCAD and other computer software.

2) Ability to read drawings and tender documents.

3) Willing to work on site environment.

4) Comfortable working with subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.

JOB TITLE : PROJECT COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITY AND JOB DESCRIPTION:

1) Work closely with Project Manager to manage projects.

2) In charge of coordinating and liaising all site works (own work + subcons/vendors).

3) Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise; update to PM.

4) Make sure all works on site proceed smoothly and according to schedule.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1) Responsible and accountable.

2) Adaptive and quick on the feet to handle challenges on site.

3) Good communication skills with clients/IDs/consultants/subcons/vendors etc.

4) Able to multi-task and manage several site's issues at one time.

5) Manage stress/pressure and handover sites with tight deadlines.

6) Experience using computers for a variety of tasks (E.g emails).

7) Competency in Microsoft applications (E.g Word, Excel etc).

8) Ability to read drawings.

GOOD TO HAVE (OPTIONAL):

1) Proven work experience or similar role.

2) Some experience in project management.

3) Proficiency in different languages.

4) Class 3 license.

JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITY AND JOB DESCRIPTION:

8) Adjust schedule and target on the project as needs when encounter changes without compromising the clients’ expectations and schedule set out.

9) Communicating with Project Director to keep the project aligned with their goals and handover schedule.

10) Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.

11) Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.

12) Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.

13) Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
