- Job Description:
- Study existing products with a view to modifying them to qualify for HPB’s ‘healthier choice’ label;
- Assist in new product development and existing product improvement;
- Administer company’s Food Safety Management System including documenting all compliance checks made;
- Manage customers’ complaints on Food Safety issues, investigate, troubleshoot and implement corrective action;
- Handle and coordinate internal and external audit for all food safety and quality related matters;
- Liaise closely with and support the Logistics Department to ensure Food Safety compliance;
- Responsible for Workplace Safety and Health;
- General administration such as filing, updating SOPs including those on Food Safety and Work Safety;
- Keep track of the maintenance of company vehicles and cold room;
- Assist in processing and servicing customers’ enquiries and orders;
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Food Science & Technology or equivalent
- Experience in food safety management, developing, implementing and certification of GMP, HACCP, SS590, ISO 22000 as an advantage.
- Good knowledge of NEA, SFA & HSA and other Singapore food related regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Organised and detail-orientated with good analytical skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and to multi-task;
- Highly motivated individual, able to take initiative in completing assigned tasks
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities;
- Good spoken and written English.
