• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of injection molding processes for medical, automotive and high precision industrial applications.
• Manage and oversee design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions for high-precision assembly processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485 for medical devices, IATF 16949 for automotive).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new molds and maintain existing tooling.
• Partner with suppliers to integrate and implement advanced automation solutions for manufacturing.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and develop corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align engineering initiatives with company goals.
• Manage resources effectively to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Master/ Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Min 8 years of experience in injection molding and automation assembly, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and mold flow analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies, including robotics, PLCs, and vision systems.
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 13485, IATF 16949).
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in medical device or automotive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing technologies.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma and must be familiar with Minitab software.
• Familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP and IOPQ.
• Sound knowledge in SPC, FMEA, DFM, DOE.
• Possess strong leadership, positive attitude, analytical and good interpersonal skills

Our client (MNC) is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing solutions provider. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair work of in-house production automation machines.

•  Identify and initiate actions to prevent occurrence and recurrence of machine breakdown

• To record all repair, faults, action taken & maintenance tasks and shift handover update.

• To provide vision system support during shift to ensure production machines & equipment is repaired timely.

• To support all Automation Integration

Requirements:

• NTC/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial/Plastic technology or equivalent qualification

• 1-3 years relevant working experience in Factory Automation, Machine repairs and maintenance

• Experience in Plastic Injection Molding/ Machine Vision/ or PLC Programming is a plus.

• Good team player with positive working attitude
