About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our construction firm in Singapore. This is a highly rewarding, commission-driven role designed for a "hunter" who excels at driving business growth. You will be responsible for identifying new construction project opportunities, building strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, and successfully negotiating and closing contracts. Key Responsibilities
Identify, generate, and pursue new business leads within the commercial, industrial, or residential construction sectors
Develop and maintain robust relationships with property developers, architects, consultants, and corporate clients
Lead the preparation and presentation of compelling sales proposals, pitches, and tender submissions
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and project scopes with clients to secure profitable agreements
Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, and project management teams to ensure accurate pricing, resource availability, and technical feasibility
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming industry developments to identify strategic opportunities
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, generate regular forecasts, and consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets
Qualifications
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, specifically within the construction, engineering, or real estate industry
Proven track record of successfully securing and closing large-scale construction contracts and tenders
Formal academic qualifications are not required; we prioritize proven sales capabilities, strong industry connections, and a demonstrated ability to close deals
Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and industry procurement methods
Excellent networking, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both C-level executives and technical teams
Familiarity with reading architectural drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents
