Requirements
- RAD CBTS/ CTD qualifications
- Education: Dance Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Education/Teaching/Training, Music/Performing Arts Studies or equivalent, preferred
- This is a teaching role, candidate have to be patient, enjoy teaching young children and having their safety in mind at all times.
- Weekdays evening and weekend work necessary
- Ability to teach other dance genres will be an added advantage
Responsibilities includes:
- Prepare lesson plan and structure for the class
- Identify individual student’s needs and areas of development
- Prepare termly progress reports on students’ progression
- Choreograph dances for students’ performance
- Conduct parent-teacher meeting
- Teach students for their performances and exams
- Collaborate with fellow colleagues on projects and tasks assigned by company
- Present a professional image in dressing and personality at all times
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
