Job Summary
You will manage airfreight and oceanfreight operations to ensure efficient shipment coordination, fast clearance, accurate documentation, timely updates to customers and partners, and effective vendor performance management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate airfreight and oceanfreight shipments to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Collaborate closely with Clearance Vendors to achieve fast clearance from terminals.
- Verify and declare accurate permits for all shipments to comply with regulations.
- Coordinate shipments promptly to meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate shipment status updates timely to Customers and Overseas Partners.
- Track shipment arrivals and arrange timely delivery and Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Assist in ensuring accurate job costing and selling prices for each shipment.
- Process billing accurately and promptly to customers.
- Monitor vendor service standards to ensure compliance with agreed requirements.
- Manage vendor performance to ensure timely deliveries.
- Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and rate inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers to deliver excellent customer service.
- Perform other official duties as assigned by Senior Management.
