Based in Singapore and within the client services delivery framework, you will perform project management work in the APAC region. The Project Manager is responsible for initiating, executing, and closing single or multiple projects according to strict deadlines, and within scope, to a budget, and to the required quality standards in order to strengthen Murex's reputation in implementing solutions for clients. You will also be involved during the pre-sales phase.

Role Accountabilities:

• Driving the implementation full ‘life cycle’ of Murex Front to Back Capital Markets software using waterfall and/or agile project delivery methodologies
• Enforcing project governance, capacity planning, and risk management
• Enforcing Murex implementation best practices with clients/implementation partners
• Managing the expectations of users/stakeholders
• Perform crisis management when required
• Managing virtual teams of Murex functional and technical implementation consultants (on a project basis)
• Promote Murex methodology and solution packaging during the pre-sales stage
• Ensure pre-sales coordination to be in line with the overall service proposal and provide a single message to the client (e.g. project estimate, planning)

To be successful in the role, you should possess 10-13 years of working experience with at least 6 years of Project Management experience ideally in

• driving the implementation of Treasury/Capital Markets software (preferred) or other banking software
• leading complex projects with formal management techniques (work plans, status reporting, issue and risk management, financial tracking, earned value, etc.)
• Ability to work independently while following a project delivery methodology
• Knowledge of Financial Markets preferred
• Good communicator: ability to clearly communicate with people at all levels about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations, and feedback
• Demonstrated maturity in interacting with clients at mid to senior management level
• Ability to perform under pressure and believe he/ she can influence the outcome and see it as an opportunity,
• Team Building Skills provides the substance that holds the team together in common purpose toward the right objective,
• Ability to travel in the APAC region on a frequent basis (up to 50% per year), depending on the assignment taken

Your Team

Our Production & Architecture Consultancy (PAC) team ensures clients can run MX.3 efficiently, reliably, and securely. As a Technical Consultant, you will be guided and mentored by experienced engineers while learning how to:

• Deploy and support complex financial systems
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and stability issues
• Work with modern technologies across infrastructure, cloud, databases, and programming
• Collaborate with global teams and communicate directly with clients

You’ll be part of the full product lifecycle—from implementation to production support—and gain exposure to how real financial institutions operate their mission-critical systems.

Your Role

With training and senior support, you will:

• Build strong technical knowledge of the MX.3 platform
• Analyze and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, and architecture issues
• Contribute to improving system stability through benchmarking, profiling, and testing
• Assist in infrastructure preparation, including sizing, setup, monitoring, and maintenance
• Become a trusted technical partner for clients across the Asia–Pacific region
• Collaborate with Product Development and Client Services to deliver high‑quality solutions

Your Profile

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or related.
• 0 to 3 Years of relevant experience
• Strong interest in system architecture, problem‑solving, and technology
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, or networking
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java)
• Understanding of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork
• English communication skills and a structured way of thinking
• Japanese, Korean or Chinese language is a plus
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages a plus
• Exposure to debugging/profiling tools (GDB, Valgrind, Java profilers)
• Understanding of multi-threading or design patterns
• Internship or project experience with enterprise systems

Based in Singapore, you will be involved in the following activities:

• Treasury and Capital Markets Front to Back Office Workflows (transactions, settlements, legal documentation, SWIFT) across all financial asset classes;
• Financial control (Treasury and Capital Markets financial products accounting according to International Financial Reporting Standards and P&L analysis)
