We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead contract administration and commercial management across our construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that all contractual, financial, and legal elements are effectively managed, while promoting cost efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and amendments to secure favorable terms and protect company interests.
Lead contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms.
Resolve contractual and commercial disputes to minimize project risks and financial exposure.
Administer variations, additions, omissions, back-charges, and collections to maintain accurate financial records.
Manage a team of QS to produce project claims, indemnity warranties, budget accounting, tracking, and management reporting.
Assist in the tendering process by verifying accurate inclusion of costing to support competitive bids.
Identify and assess contract-related risks to mitigate potential impacts on projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Construction / Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in QS or contracts administration within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a main contractor role preferred.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and have good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Meticulous and analytical and possess excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Oversee project costs from inception to completion by managing budgeting, cost planning, and financial control to ensure projects stay within budget
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts accurately and on schedule to maintain financial transparency
Review and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy and consistency in project costing
Manage and resolve contractual and payment-related issues with clients, consultants, and subcontractors professionally to maintain smooth project execution
Lead tendering and cost estimation processes to produce competitive and well-supported submissions that align with project goals
Monitor project expenditure, material usage, and cash flow, implementing corrective actions promptly to control costs
Provide informed recommendations on procurement strategies and cost optimisation to enhance project profitability
Conduct regular site visits to verify that project progress aligns with cost reporting and budget forecasts
Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors to uphold quality standards and develop team capabilities
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
5–8 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with subcontractor experience in waterproofing
Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and claims management essential for effective project delivery
Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Quantity Surveying software/tools to support accurate project documentation
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to resolve project challenges efficiently
Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines to ensure timely project completion
