Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to grasp requirements fully
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as carpenter
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good physical condition and endurance
• Must Need to Work Night Jobs, Sundays, and public holidays
• Depend on our customer requirments must need to work odd timeings

Job Summary

You will prepare surfaces by scraping and sanding, mix paint to achieve the correct color and texture, and apply paint and finishes using various tools. You will also build scaffolding, fill cracks, calculate costs, and follow health and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and instructions to assess surface conditions and determine necessary painting work
• Build scaffolding and cover fixtures to prepare job sites safely
• Prepare walls and surfaces by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint to ensure proper adhesion
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials such as plaster to create smooth surfaces
• Mix paint and materials accurately to achieve the specified color and texture
• Apply paint, varnish, and finishes using brushes, caulking guns, and other tools according to instructions
• Calculate job costs and negotiate prices with clients to ensure project profitability
• Follow all health and safety precautions to maintain a safe work environment
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proven experience as a painter
• Knowledge of commercial and construction painting techniques
• Manual dexterity and excellent balance to safely work on scaffolding and ladders
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes
