Job Title: ICT Executive (Special Education School)

Job Purpose

The ICT Executive is responsible for providing comprehensive ICT and Audio-Visual (AV) support to staff and students, ensuring the effective use of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and school operations. The role also involves managing ICT/AV resources and contributing to the development and delivery of ICT-related curriculum, including digital and media literacy.

Key Responsibilities

1. ICT & AV Technical Support

• Provide first-line technical support for ICT and AV equipment (e.g., computers, tablets, projectors, interactive panels).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues for staff and students.
• Support classroom technology integration, including assistive technology for students with special needs.
• Set up and manage AV equipment for school events, meetings, and training sessions.
• Liaise with external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.

2. ICT & AV Resource Management

• Procure ICT and AV equipment in accordance with school policies and budget.
• Maintain inventory of ICT/AV assets and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Ensure timely maintenance, servicing, and lifecycle management of equipment.
• Monitor software licensing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Recommend and implement new technologies to improve teaching and operational efficiency.

3. Curriculum Development & Instruction

• Support the development of ICT curriculum, including digital literacy, media literacy, and cyber wellness.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant ICT support experience (experience in a school environment is an advantage).
• Familiarity with AV systems and classroom technology.

Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Operations Manager has a key role in infrastructure and logistics management, as well as upholding and maintaining the safety and security of the school. This role ensures that systems, resources, and services are effectively managed to support students with special needs, enabling educators and therapists to focus on delivering high-quality education and care. The Operations Manager works closely with school leadership to maintain compliance with Singapore regulations and to create a safe, inclusive, and efficient learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Logistics Management

• Oversee day-to-day school operations and provide logistical support for school activities, meetings and events
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows
• Ensure efficient allocation and utilisation of school resources

2. Facilities & Safety Management

• Manage school facilities, ensuring accessibility and safety for staff and students with diverse needs
• Supervise and manage the maintenance, repairs, renovations, cleaning, and security services
• Ensure school compliance with health, hygiene and safety regulations and implement school safety protocols including emergency preparedness and evacuation plans

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Facilities, Hospitality or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations or facilities management

• Possess certification as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) or meet the entry requirements for FSM course

Job Scope of SPED Teacher

JOB PURPOSE

The role of a SPED Teacher is to design and develop customised learning support to help students with special needs cope and achieve their learning objectives. The SPED Teacher will be working closely with allied professionals, social workers, psychologists, families, and the community to help the students to reach their fullest potential and enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Curriculum and Instructional Excellence

• Plan engaging and well-paced lessons taking into account the diverse learner profiles of students
• Deliver engaging lessons using evidence-based pedagogy and meaningful activities, to meet the educational needs of individual students
• Implement appropriate modes of assessment to monitor student progress by providing accurate feedback, and implementing suitable instructional supports to close gaps.

Holistic Student Development

• Build a strong relationship with students by demonstrating care, concern and encouragement
• Formulate data-based, student-centered IEP/ITP process for all students, and support their attainment of IEP/ITP goals through appropriate strategies implemented in partnership with families/caregivers, Allied Professionals and other relevant stakeholders
• Design and implement positive, robust classroom routines and practices to create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment as well as foster student development and well-being

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct parent education sessions to help families/caregivers’ build their understanding of their child’s needs.
• Implement appropriate methods and tools to better support ongoing, sustainable student development, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods and Assistive Technology for learning.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 ‘A’/ H2 Level passes and 2 AO/H1 passes (including GP or Knowledge Inquiry) or a recognized local polytechnic diploma
• Possessed a Diploma in Special Education (DISE) would be highly preferred
• Knowledge of Braille and / or Sign Language would be advantageous
• Experience working with individuals with sensory impairment would be advantageous
