Taking charge for all cargo operations and assisting the Master in the efficient running of the vessel and being fully responsible for the deck equipment, cordage, painting and cleaning of the vessel.

As the Chief Engineer’s deputy, he will take over the functions of the Chief Engineer in case the latter is ill or incapacitated. Assisted the Chief Engineer in carrying out the daily inspection and maintenance of the entire ship’s machinery and equipment, including deck and accommodation machinery.

• Inspection, troubleshooting and testing for heavy vehicles - lorries, trucks, tankers
• Conduct regular maintenance of vehicles
• Ensure repair works carried out comply with regulatory codes, specifications and company guidelines
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety at the workplace
• Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Min PSLE
• possesses a valid class 3 driving license
• possesses a forklift license will be an advantage
• Basic command of English, in both wirtten and verbal
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in automotive service and repair
• Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
• Capable to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and willing to take responsibility and accountability of their role
• Capable of identofying and suggesting improvements
• Willing to work outdoor environement on site

5.5 days work week

Responsibilities:

• Committed to doing everything possible to prevent injuries and to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• To support the OSH program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations
• Confirm nominated product and quantity as per order delivery ticket before proceeding to supply such as: check & tally cargoes or tanker number/ seal / product grade / quantity.
• Assist in loading / unloading of supply equipment and ensure all is good working condition & road worthiness before use.
• Perform rigging & signaling of cargoes during vessel supply
• Coordinate with Planner on delivery purpose such equipment faults, supply dispute.
• Communication with Chief engineer and driver is clear when executing order during supply.
• Ensure that delivery document is check and endorsed after completion.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Planner

Requirements:

• Able to handle shift work
• Capable to work independently and able to work under pressure during peak periods.
• Willing to take responsibility and ownership at work
• Valid rigger & signalman certificate
• Candidate must possess at least Primary / Secondary / “O” Level in any Field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of relevant working experience in the PSA or Jurong Port.
• Able to speak / understand basic English

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Transport goods and cargo from one location to another location
• Transport road tanker and packed stock according to the assigned schedule
• Compliance to the local regulations / company procedures & PATROM requirements strictly
• Ensure proper handling of customer goods
• Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle’s road worthiness before use & maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to Planner for rectification
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least Primary / Secondary School / "O" Level or equivalent
• Minimum Class 4 / 5 driving license
• Familiar with Singapore roads
• Capable to work independently
• Willing to take responsibility and accountability of their role
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in PSA, Jurong Port and Penjuru / MSW Terminal
• Good driving records
