Job Title: Administrative Clerk

Job Summary

The Motor Repair Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily motor repair operations, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring all repair, maintenance, and testing activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. This role also involves customer coordination and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate repair, maintenance, and overhaul of electric motors (AC/DC)

• Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of jobs

• Review and approve repair reports, inspection records, and quality checks

• Provide technical guidance on fault diagnosis and repair methods

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO procedures)

• Communicate with customers regarding job status, technical issues, and solutions

• Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory

• Support troubleshooting of complex or critical motor issues

• Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians’ performance

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance productivity and service quality

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering

• Minimum 3–5 years of motor repair experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of industrial motor repair (e.g., pumps, generators, rotating equipment)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Effective communication and team leadership abilities

• Familiarity with safety standards and workshop practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and control systems
