Apply Generative AI technology to implement highly scalable solutions to solve real world problems.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information systems, or related STEM fields.

2+ years full lifecycle machine learning application product development experience.

2+ years of experience in building and delivering sophisticated solutions, that leverage various AI solutions, machine learning algorithms, or technologies and are able to scale optimally.

B2C Market Mechanism Design Direction.

This role resides within American Express Enterprise Technology Services (ETS)- Technology Decision Service Center of Excellence

Design and optimize B2C market mechanisms, including pricing, incentives, matching, and allocation frameworks to drive customer engagement and business Growth.

Develop end-end solutions from problem formulation, data analysis, mechanism modelling and simulation to experimentation, validation and large-scale deployment.

Leverage economic theory, game theory and market design principles to create scalable, incentive compatible and efficient marketplace solutions.

Drive both high level economic framework design and detailed implementation strategies and conduct cross functional design reviews as needed.

Ensure robustness, fairness, and performance of deployed mechanisms, through continuous monitoring, experimentation (e.g A/B testing) and iterative optimization.

Actively participate in business and technical discussions and forums across Amex to align market designs strategies with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD Degree in Economics, Market Design, Game Theory, Operations Research or related quantitative fields.

1+ years of experience in mechanism design, pricing strategy, auction design, matching markets, or related B2C marketplace optimization domains.

1+ years of experience in developing and implementing data-driven economic models or algorithmic solutions that scale effectively in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.

•Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair. Identifies and corrects errors.

•Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

•Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components.

•Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details. May perform computer programming, repair or software Details finished work.

•Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects. Troubleshoots and improves processes.

Role Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

•NITEC, Diploma

•2–4 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience

•Related technical trainings and certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

•Solid analytical skills, and an ability to problem-solve using established operating procedures or scientific methods

•Demonstrated capability to operate as a peer leader and trainer

•Demonstrated proficiency for required semiconductor manufacturing concepts and processes

Physical Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, the use of hand and power tools, and driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts. Additionally, because this position may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
