Duties to be Performed:

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Fire Protection Systems will be responsible for designing and delivering mechanical systems for industrial properties in the semiconductor, electronics, biopharma, and related industries.

The Duties/ Responsibilities of the Prospective Candidate are,

• Responsible for Concept, Basic, and Detailed Design of Mechanical Fire Protection Systems, including Fire Sprinkler, Fire Hydrant, Fire Hose Reel in accordance with local and international codes.

• Engineering design of Fire Protection and Detection Systems for new and existing industrial and commercial buildings, ensuring life safety and property protection.

• Conduct feasibility studies and conceptual designs of Fire Protection Systems, evaluating system types (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge) and suppression strategies based on fire risk assessments.

• Review of Fire Protection systems in preparation for testing, commissioning, and validation, ensuring systems function per design intent and performance criteria.

• Provide engineering services for tendering, including preparing technical specifications, BOQ, SOW, conducting site show rounds, and briefing bidders on fire protection packages.

• Develop detailed project plans for Fire Protection scope, including tracking of design milestones, procurement schedules, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Fire Protection Calculations, Hydraulic Calculations, Material Submittals, and As-Built Drawings.

• Liaise with clients to understand project-specific fire safety goals and regulatory requirements, and clarify detailed briefs for each fire protection system design.

• Clearly define and align inter-discipline technical interfaces (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural) and scope demarcation for fire protection systems.

• Work with CAD Drafters and BIM Modelers to guide system modeling, verify routing of pipes and equipment locations, and conduct field verification to ensure installation compliance.

• Perform Friction Loss Calculations for piping networks, determine pump head requirements, and estimate Power Requirements for fire pumps and associated equipment.

• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments and Smoke Control Calculations, and perform system design analyses for compliance with local codes and international standards

• Promote safe working practices, ensuring all fire protection systems are designed and installed to protect the health and safety of employees, contractors, and clients.

• Liaise closely with QA/QC Engineers to ensure inspections, testing and system commissioning are aligned with approved fire protection specifications and quality standards.

Job / Skills Requirement:

You should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical.

You should have sound experience in mechanical systems in designing and installation works related to semiconductors, biopharma, laboratories, data centres, or process buildings.

You should be familiar with Singapore’s latest codes, standards, guidelines, regulations, and authorities’ requirements. Your familiarity with available equipment, modern technology, construction methods, and CAD/ BIM is an added advantage.

You should be able to advise clients and engineers on project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.

Willing to travel/ relocate.

Senior Mechanical Engineer for HVAC Systems shall be handling on designing and delivering mechanical systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries.

The mechanical systems include Cleanroom, HVAC, Process exhausts, vacuum, condenser, chilled water, process and process cooling water, fire protection, diesel fuel, natural gas and associated, equipment, ducts and pipe works.

The Duties/ Responsibilities of the Prospective Candidate are,

• Responsible for Engineering of Concept / Basic / Detail design for Mechanical systems with the focus of HVAC systems.
• Shall perform system related engineering calculation including heat load calculation, equipment sizing, distribution system sizing from fundamentals with spreadsheet tools.
• Shall develop design drawings including, but not limited to, PFD, Schematics and Layout for required HVAC systems.
• Engineering design of HVAC and Process Exhaust systems for new/ existing production buildings.
• Conduct feasibility study and conceptual design of Mechanical Systems throughout all technological aspects
• Review of HVAC system in preparation for testing and commissioning and validation
• Coordination and engineering in regards of R&D Equipment requirements
• Provision of engineering service for tendering, conduct site show round and brief bidders
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Clearly define and align inter-discipline technical interfaces and scope demarcation
• Work with CAD drafters and BIM modeler to guide, check and carry out field verification with them.
• Prepare SOW (Scope of work) for bid package, including BOM for form of tender.
• Calculate system OSE (Operating System Efficiency) of chilled water system to meet MEES requirements.
• Frictional loss calculation for fan and pump head and estimation of power requirements.
• Perform psychrometric analysis on system design
• Trouble shooting of design and construction related problems and develop solutions accordingly

The Office Administrator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative operations and reception functions to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional office environment. This role provides comprehensive support to multiple supervisors, manages corporate travel and documentation, and upholds high standards of office organization and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Reception & Front Office Management   

• Manage reception duties, including answering, scanning and directing telephone calls, handling general enquiries, and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Maintain a courteous and efficient front-office environment at all times.

Administrative Support

• Provide administrative support to multiple supervisors, including document preparation, filing, spreadsheet creation, and database maintenance.
• Maintain and update office personnel contact lists and internal records.
• Support the upkeep and integrity of ISO-related documentation.
• Preparing yearly timesheet template for regional office.
• Record meeting minutes during weekly HR/Administrative meetings.
• Provide general administrative assistance to colleagues where required.
• Collect updated and checked resumes from colleagues quarterly and upload them to SharePoint to support business development submissions.

Document Control

• Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring accuracy, proper filing, and version control.
• Maintain both physical and digital document control systems.
• Ensure documents are stored, archived, and retrieved per company standards.
• Monitor compliance with documentation standards (e.g., naming conventions, formatting).
• Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely approvals.
• Prepare documentation status reports as required.

Travel & Visa Coordination

• Arrange business travel itineraries, including travel insurance, flight bookings, and hotel accommodation.
• Coordinate with hotel partners to establish or renew corporate agreements for preferential room rates.
• Manage all business travel visa applications (online and offline), ensuring timely submission and compliance with requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of employees’ passports and ensure they remain valid for travel purposes.
• Update and track colleagues’ passport information in the system.

Office Operations & Facilities Management

• Monitor and manage office supplies, place purchase orders, and coordinate deliveries.
• Oversee pantry stock replenishment and ensure proper maintenance of office equipment and supplies.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the office environment, including coordinating semi-annual cleaning of air-conditioning vents and office chairs.
• Liaise with plant maintenance vendors regarding the upkeep or replacement of indoor plants.
• Perform routine office housekeeping tasks, including quarterly water filter replacements for dispensers.
• Assist in planning seasonal office decorations.

Procurement & Logistics

• Prepare Field Material Requisitions and Purchase
• Orders, including comparing supplier quotations to secure competitive pricing.
• Prepare Delivery Orders as needed.
• Coordinate local and international courier arrangements for documents and parcels.
• Conduct office-related errands when necessary.

Requirements:

• Certificate & Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in office administration, reception, or executive support roles.
• Experience in coordinating travel arrangements and handling visa applications is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment is preferred.
