Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Quality Improvement Plans to achieve Zero Defects, Zero Escapes, and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Manage customer complaints, NCR closure, and product release decisions.
- Develop, standardize, and implement QC procedures, inspection/test plans, sampling plans, work instructions, and quality templates.
- Collect, analyze, and report quality performance data using statistical tools; identify improvement opportunities.
- Authorize material disposition (Scrap/Rework/Repair/Return) and ensure NCR tracking, trending, and reporting.
- Apply quality tools to reduce defects, variability, and standardize best practices across manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate and perform internal audits, oversee QCP for TPI, and ensure compliance with QMS and government regulations.
- Supervise QA/QC activities, plan and monitor inspection tasks, and ensure documentation for product release.
- Manage calibration systems for plant/testing/measuring equipment.
- Evaluate team competency, set goals, and maintain functional competency matrices.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing leaders, and shop floor teams to implement quality improvements.
- Report and act on quality concerns, participate in QHSE meetings, and ensure delivery of required customer quality data.
- Oversee service delivery issues, maintain compliance, and perform other assigned duties within job scope.
