You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and relentless execution, managing our recruitment engine while carving out a brand that stands for quality in an AI-first world.
Core Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Leadership & Management (Primary Focus)
You will lead the frontline, ensuring our delivery matches our "Hidden Gems" promise.
Operational Rhythm: Lead daily check-ins and "office hours" to unblock recruitment bottlenecks.
Performance Tracking: Monitor recruiter sourcing statistics and conversion ratios to ensure target volume.
Quality Control: Sit in on interviews, provide feedback, and coach recruiters specifically on critical thinking and AI literacy assessment.
Escalation Management: Act as the final point of contact for client escalations, ensuring professional and swift resolution.
2. Strategic Growth & Differentiation
Work directly with the Founder to build a defensible moat in a fragmented market.
Market Positioning: Help execute the shift toward a boutique, AI-angled offshoring model.
Workflow Optimization: Identify process gaps and implement automation (via tools like Gamma, Figma, or Zapier) to keep the agency lean.
The "Hidden Gems" Playbook: Formalize our internal brand strategy—defining our voice, aesthetics, and unique value proposition.
3. Go-To-Market & Marketing Strategy
Drive the visibility of Hidden Gems to both clients (demand) and candidates (supply).
Supply-Side Growth: Build a social media strategy (LinkedIn/Instagram) to attract top-tier Malaysian talent.
Demand-Side BD: Support LinkedIn outreach scaling and represent the brand within Singapore-based founder communities.
Agency Management: Oversee in-house content creation or manage external Malaysian creative agencies to ensure brand consistency.
Who You Are
The "Co-Builder" Mentality: You aren't just looking for a job; you want to help scale a business from its current stage to an annual turnover of $3M–$5M SGD.
Operational Rigor: You love a good spreadsheet, but you love a streamlined workflow even more. You’re comfortable with lean tech stacks (Canva, Figma, modern ATS).
Recruitment Savvy: You have a deep understanding of the SEA talent market, specifically within Malaysia.
AI-Forward: You believe AI won't replace recruiters, but recruiters who use AI will replace those who don't. You can coach others on this mindset.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Recruitment Velocity: Average time-to-fill and candidate success rate.
Brand Engagement: Growth in LinkedIn/Instagram follower counts and inbound lead quality.
Process Efficiency: Reduction in manual recruitment tasks through automation and improved SOPs.
The Logistics
Commitment: Full-time, with a heavy emphasis on Recruitment Leadership (approx. 10 hours/week dedicated specifically to team coaching/management).
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Ability to engage with SG/MY markets effectively).
