Job Summary

Lead strategic tender management to maximize profitability and business growth by developing competitive pricing, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth customer onboarding and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to maximize business opportunities and profitability
• Negotiate special pricing for large-volume shipments, project cargo, and new trade lanes to strengthen market position
• Lead and coordinate tender/RFQ responses with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to enhance tender win rates
• Analyze tender and customer requirements alongside market trends to deliver competitive, viable solutions
• Act as central coordinator between Sales, Operations, and Support Functions to align commercial commitments with operational capabilities and profitability goals
• Drive successful implementation of awarded customer projects, ensuring smooth transition from acquisition to operational execution
• Plan, coordinate, and execute customer onboarding and implementation projects post-award confirmation
• Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines to ensure effective project kick-off and transition
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with customer requirements and operational capabilities
• Monitor project milestones, report progress to stakeholders, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 7 years of tender management experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry

Job Responsibilities :

• Post AP transactions / journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, and bank transactions
• Manage daily AP Team operations and review AP payable
• Follow up monthly internal division transactions and settlements
• Review and approve AP related documents and payment vouchers
• Review & finalize quarterly GST reports (Form 5IRAS) for submission and provide MES renewal support.
• Monitor balance sheet items and follow-up with the respective PIC on outstanding items
• Assist with treasury functions including cash flow analysis and renewal of bank guarantees
• Handle internal and external audits
• Review manual invoices for related entities to recover expenses under special arrangements
• Support the portfolio of other team members through abuddy system

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy / Business Finance
• Five (5) years of hands-on experience in accounting on Accounts Payable andkeeping full set of accounts preferably from the logistics and freight forwarding industry
• Basic tax (GST) knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and SAP accounting system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse  and logistics operations for the clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods

• Maintain customer records and sales date in the company's CRM system
• Provide support to the sales team in preparing quotations, presentations and tracking invoices 
• Directly liaise with customers and provide the most accurate and prompt solutions
• Coordinate with various teams and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract logistics or supply chain management 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software

This position will work closely with the Global Customer Implementation Manager to support the execution of implementation strategies and coordinate cross-functional activities across various departments. He/She will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all necessary setups and tasks are completed smoothly and on time, coordinate transition activities and act as the primary point of contact for client communications during the implementation process. He/She will need to be organized; detail orientated and possess strong communication skills to support the onboarding of our new clients.

The Challenges 

• Assist in the coordination of virtual teams across multiple regions and functional areas to support customer implementation projects covering new customer onboarding and business re-implementations.
• Support operational set-up and coordinate with various departments such as sales, operations and IT to gather necessary information to ensure smooth flow of tasks.
• Coordinate with project managers as a primary point of contact with clients for communications, providing timely updates and responding to general inquiries on the implementation process.
• Gather and document business and system processes into customer process documents. 
• Prepare simple reports to update the stakeholders on the project status.
• Coordinate Hyper Care activities with the operations team to closely monitor the customer's shipments during the transition period, ensuring processes and operations are executed according to plan.
• Consolidate feedback from clients and internal teams to support the identification of areas for process improvement post Hyper Care and refine documentation before handover to program team.

What It Takes

• Bachelor's degree or diploma.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing or coordination role within freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Technical proficiency with common office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to adapt and navigate through a dynamic and fast-paced business environment and shifting priorities.
• Strong execution skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Organized with clear and professional verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with clients and internal teams.
• Willingness to learn new logistics software and a passion for automation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with direct and virtual teams across geographical and cultural boundaries.
• Customer-focused mindset with a desire to deliver a positive client experience.
• Proactive attitude in identifying and resolving minor issues, escalating more complex problems when necessary.
