Job Summary
We seek a Senior Procurement Executive to lead procurement and supplier management, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and compliance to support operational and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, evaluating quotations, selecting suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries to meet operational needs
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and high service quality
- Develop and sustain strong supplier relationships to support reliable supply chains
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to prevent operational disruptions
- Conduct market research and benchmark suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery timeliness
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and other internal teams to align procurement with business requirements
- Prepare detailed procurement reports, spending analyses, and supplier performance reviews to inform decision-making
- Drive process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and operational effectiveness
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of procurement or purchasing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills demonstrated through supplier contract management and cost optimization
- Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills applied to procurement challenges
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with ERP, inventory management, or procurement systems to support procurement operations
- Background in food supply chain, distribution, wholesale, e-commerce, or technology-driven operations
- Knowledge of inventory planning and supplier performance management
