The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.
Role Overview
As Co-Head of Content, you will be responsible for driving content development and programme delivery across assigned regions. You will play a key role in shaping relevant, high-quality forum content while supporting commercial objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Strategy Execution
- Contribute to the development of GFTN’s content strategy and thematic priorities, in partnership with Connections leadership.
- Translate strategic themes into actionable programme content across assigned regions.
- Apply and uphold GFTN’s content curation framework across all programmes.
Programme Curation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end content curation for assigned Connections, including agenda design, speaker identification, marketing promotions and content delivery.
- Work closely with policymakers and industry leaders to develop relevant and high-impact sessions.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of programme deliverables.
Regional & Thematic Ownership
- Own content development for Singapore (co-lead), Europe (co-lead), China, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Japan.
- Bring strong regional perspectives to ensure relevance and diversity in programming.
- Develop subject matter expertise in priority thematic areas to support content development across assigned markets which is to be discussed and agreed upon (e.g. AI, Quantum).
Commercial & Stakeholder Support
- Identify and support commercial and creative content opportunities within Connections and Solutions.
- Support management of key sponsor and partner relationships through content alignment and delivery.
- Contribute to commercially relevant content narratives and proposals.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support engagement with key sponsors, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders through content delivery.
- Build and maintain working relationships with regional stakeholders.
Team Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with the Marketing team to deliver and lead the narrative and positioning of content agendas, speaker promotions and importantly outcomes.
- Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to junior content team members where required.
- Collaborate with regional content leads (dotted line) to ensure consistency and quality.
Content Quality & Governance
- Support tracking of KPIs such as speaker diversity, new voices, and geographic representation.
- Work with relevant teams on speaker logistics, including budget awareness and planning.
Thought Leadership & Representation
- Contribute to research and content development (e.g. briefing notes, reports, session materials).
- Support content marketing and speaker campaigns.
- Moderate sessions or represent GFTN at selected engagements where required.
