An international marine company located near Commonwealth MRT is seeking a Marine Automation Technician on permanent position. Applicant must have experience on Electrical and Control System (Please highlight in BOLD in your CV during submission). Monthly salary is S$ 4000 - 4500 depending on relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair of automation machinery on board vessels
- Perform diagnostic checks on automated system
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of navigational equipment
- Carry out system software checks and update on ship management system.
- Conduct software troubleshooting on ship management system
- Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and the company’s QHSE policies.
- Interpret electronic, PLC ladder and system functional diagrams
Requirements:
- Knowledge and skills in Electronics/Electrical
- Experience in marine navigational or electronic system will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site and to commute to both the Eastern and Western Regions of Singapore to support operations as required.
- Willingness to work in the shipyard environment and undergo security checks.
