Job summary

1)      Responsible for the purchase of goods and service to support company’s needs and requirements.

2)      To plan and purchase of supply, keep company operates smoothly and continuous supply of quality goods and raw materials from suppliers at the best possible rate.

3)      Work with respective departments as a team to ensure resolving problems if arise.

4)      To adhere and drive purchasing operations and procedures per company’s policy.  

Area of responsibilities

1)     Issue purchase order (PO) and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery.

2)     Ensure timely and accurate entry and maintenance of pricing, quantities, and units of measurement to uphold system integrity.

3)      Review, forecast, and maintain a healthy balance of inventory to prevent out of stock and low inventory turnover.

4)      Identify, drive, and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and process improvements.

5)      Perform pricing tabulation and report for cost saving initiatives, cost competitiveness or cost increase analysis.

6)     To generate reports for management review when required.

7)      Review, maintain, and negotiate current pricing or contracts with suppliers while ensuring the quality of products and services.

8)      Review and resolve any supplier order and quality issues.

9)      Sourcing and identifying potential suppliers for company products, visiting existing suppliers, if necessary, to build and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

10)  Update or creation of existing and new vendor in BC system.

11)  Update or creation of existing and new product item code in BC system.

12)  Assist in ISO audits and preparation.

13)   Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Competency requirements

1)      Minimum Diploma / 3 years of Purchasing Experience

2)      Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central System Purchasing module proficiency

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8 30am - 5 45pm

Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 Shift Every 4 Weeks)

Job summary

1)      Responsible for maintaining interaction with suppliers, both overseas and local, tomaintain cost and delivery schedules.

2)      Interact with other departments and act as a liaison between supplier orders andcustomer orders.

3)      Follow and adhere to purchasing policy and procedures.

Area of responsibilities

1)     Issue purchase order (PO) and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery.

2)     Ensure timely and accurate entry and maintenance of pricing, quantities, and units of measurement to uphold system integrity.

3)     Manage the goods receiving process, verifying quantities and payment terms prior to payments processing.

4)     Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve purchasing issues.

5)     Update or Creation of new and existing product item code in the BC system.

6)      Perform and maintain purchasing administrative functions, including archiving supplier price change notifications on the server, updating Non-Conformance Records (NCR), create and update New Vendor Creation Records, Product Profiles, and Disposal Form Records.

7)      Ability to do Sourcing and Price Negotiation to achieve cost effectiveness for the company.

8)      Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary within Purchasing scope of works.

Competency requirements

1)      Minimum GCE ‘O’ level.

2)      Microsoft Business Central/Oracle SAP purchasing module proficiency.

2)     In charge of planning quarterly machine maintenance schedule.

3)     Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of production floor and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 13485 Medical Device standard at all times.

4)     Liaise with sales to check and update production schedule and advise ETA of finished products.

5)     Based on the production plan, assign production operator to relevant machine and its target quantity.

6)     Prepare work order to production assistant and mixer to prepare the raw material according to the plan.

7)     Update completed work order quantity into the system when applicable.

8)     Generate reports for management review (productivity report, wastage report etc).

9)     Ensure sufficient stock for finished product and no out of stock issue.

10)  Liaise with raw materials vendor to achieve JIT production.

11)  Manage raw material inventory.

12)  Liaise with Freshening overseas counterpart for ordering of finished products.

13)  Liaise with technician to ensure machine spare parts are available.

14)  In charge of ordering machine parts from supplier.

15)  Supervise and manage production team (training, leave approval, personal issues).

16)  Assist in ISO, EU MDR audit and preparation.

17)  Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Competency requirements

1) Minimum Diploma level.

2) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central proficiency will be an added advantage.

3) Communication skills.

4) Fluent in mandarin to communicate with operators.

5) At least 2 year of relevant experience.

6) Able to understand basic fundamentals of machine operations and production workflow.

7) Able to adapt to changes quickly and give clear instructions to production team.
