1. Quantity surveyor

The QS is the primary support for the sales team and a key point of contact for designers and end-users. Their goal is to ensure Pepperwall is the easiest brand to specify.

• Sample & Inventory Management: * Maintain and organize an extensive library of Pepperwall acoustic samples, including the HEART® and Cupid 3D ranges.

  • Coordinate the delivery of sample kits to architecture and design firms to ensure products are on-hand for their mood boards.

• Sales Administration: * Prepare accurate sales quotes and maintain records in the CRM/ERP system.

• Project Coordination: * Monitor order fulfillment and logistics to ensure project timelines are met, especially for time-sensitive "agile" projects

• Cost Estimation & Tendering: * Perform quantity take-offs from architectural drawings (AutoCAD/BIM) to determine the exact number of panels, baffles, or slats required.

  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and competitive tender submissions for commercial and government projects.

• Contract Administration: * Manage contract documentation, ensuring Pepperwall’s solutions meet the legal and technical requirements specified by the client.

  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations for installation services to ensure cost-efficiency.

• Progress Claims & Final Accounts: * Valuate work done on-site and prepare monthly progress claims.

  • Manage variation orders (VO)—when a designer changes a layout or material mid-project, the QS calculates the cost impact.

• Budgetary Control: * Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising acoustic performance.

  • Ensure projects remain profitable by monitoring actual costs against initial estimates.
