Job Summary
You will create and develop beverage menus, prepare and serve coffee and other beverages following SOPs, maintain coffee equipment quality, and support smooth café operations with teamwork and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create beverage menus to attract and satisfy customers
- Perform cashier and order-taking duties accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages according to SOPs to ensure quality and consistency
- Calibrate and maintain coffee equipment to produce consistent, high-quality coffee
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met throughout the café
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth café operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including coffee bar and seating areas
- Monitor stock levels and place ordering requests to avoid shortages
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to enhance customer experience
- Routinely clean bar area, floor, grinders, and other equipment to maintain hygiene
- Assist with restaurant service operations as needed
- Perform adhoc duties assigned by supervisors or managers
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in the coffee industry with relevant skills
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining coffee machines
- Possess latte art and beverage presentation skills
- Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and team
- Positive attitude with high initiative and teamwork spirit
- Willingness to work weekends, eves, and public holidays
- Able to work 6 days per week
- Able to work at the West Singapore (Chinese Garden) or Bedok.
