Job Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Taekwondo coach delivering quality instruction to students of all ages, fostering physical and mental growth through structured classes and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Taekwondo classes for children and adults, leading groups of 10 to 20 students to develop their skills effectively
• Guide and mentor junior instructors to enhance their teaching capabilities and class management
• Structure and create learning curricula to ensure progressive skill development and engaging class content
• Manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining organization and responsibility in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and effective learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and maintain high-quality instruction under pressure
• Commit to working a 6-day week including weekday evenings and both Saturdays and Sundays

Required competencies and certifications

• Certified Taekwondo Black Belt, preferably recognized by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation
• Ability to work weekday evenings and weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays)
• Proficient command of spoken and written English

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Coaching certification in Taekwondo or related martial arts
• Experience in structuring and creating learning curricula for Taekwondo classes
