Job Description and Requirements of Programme Counsellor

Reporting Lines:

This position reports directly to the Programme Manager. The incumbent’s primary roles relate to provide professional consultation and advice to our prospective students on our well-accredited programmes and other tasks as directed by the management team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent the Institute professionally to provide information on the academic programmes available;
• Drive enrolment for part-time and full-time academic programmes;
• Follow-up on leads, course applications, enrolments and payments via phone, email and social media platforms;
• Work alongside with the Management to achieve individual and overall team enrolment targets;
• Participate in roadshows, career fairs and programme previews;
• Work with team to achieve student progression numbers and revenue targets for local students;
• Provide general support to visitors and perform tasks as directed by the management team.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification, preferably with 2 years of sales experience in education environment;
• Competent in Microsoft Office and Familiar with social media platforms;
• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Candidates who are sales and result-driven.

· Execute campaigns on a timely basis.

· Copywriting for advertisements on website, and social media platforms.

· Enhance campaigns based on results.

· Manage content on website.

· Perform other duties as required by the Management Team.

Requirements

· Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field;

· Experience in digital marketing and advertising channels, such as display advertising, SEM, SEO, Social Media is an advantage;

· Competent in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications;

· Highly adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

· Able to work both independently and as a team.

Duties and Responsibilities of Academic Support

Reporting Lines:

This position reports directly to the Academic Director. The incumbent’s primary role is to support the Academic Director in:

• Providing administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of courses;
• Liaising with various stakeholders on day-to-day academic support matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Compiling Learning materials and assessments
• Communicating with lecturers on scheduling and academic matters
• Interacting with students on feedback
• Working with Operations team on the allocation of resources to support running of classes
• Arranging and scheduling of invigilators for physical examinations
• Coordinating with Academic and Examination Board members
• Prepare and compile reports as when required
• Updating & maintaining the SMS prospective student database;
• Advising students regarding fee payment instalments, key student contract terms & conditions and course schedules;
• Application Fee collection & generation of first payment advice;
• Collecting & collating student documentation for submission to Student Services to facilitate course admission;
• Coordinating all administrative requirements to ensure the smooth running of classes;
• Secondary point of contact for student & lecturer complaints;
• Conduct course previews as and when required;
• Assist the Academic Director as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline;
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
• Have excellent Communication Skills;
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being meticulous;
• Be self-motivated, pro-active and possess problem solving skills;
• Prior experience, especially in the education sector would be an advantage, though not mandatory, and candidates without experience will be given equal consideration.
