• Installation, maintenance and servicing of a wide variety of equipment including but not limited to:

1. General security systems
2. Alarm systems
3. CCTV systems
4. Access control systems

• Troubleshoot problems encountered on site.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, server performance, and communication between security systems (e.g., CCTV, alarm systems, access control systems).
• Provide feedback to management on issues faced on the ground.
• Perform routine maintenance and firmware updates on servers, network devices, and security system software to ensure systems remain reliable and up to date.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NiTEC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• 2 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position.
• Candidate must possess a Class 3/Class 3A driving license.

Responsibilities

1. Management of project to ensure quality and timelines of project delivery. This entails among other activities:

• Attend project working group meetings to monitor status and quality of assigned projects.
• Conduct Steering Committee meetings to update higher level management if required.
• Ensure works on site are performed in accordance with approved drawings and instructions.
• Conduct training on deployed security system for customers.
• Conduct customer feedback survey upon completion of each project to gauge the quality of installation and customer experience.
• Ensure project is delivered on time.
• Resolution and mitigation of issues encountered for assigned project.
• Identify, resolve/mitigate and escalate issues and risks.

2. Submit required reports and metrics required by Project Management Office.

3. Maintain profitability of project by controlling costs and achieving the same effective outcomes, these include:

• Working with site manager to ensure optimum deployment of resources.
• Streamlining sub-contractor costs for installation.

4. Work with internal stakeholders upon project commissioning to transit into operation and support phase.

5. Handling technical and engineering matters.

6. Member of bid management team providing resource requirement and project management plan.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must preferably possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT industry with at least 2 years in security systems implementation preferred.
• Working experience with enterprise CCTV System, Access Control System and Intruder Detection System required
• Domain knowledge required.
• Experience with project management and knowledge in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Security-by-Design (SBD) lifecycle preferred.
• Experience in MS Project and Visio preferred.
• PMP Certification will be a bonus.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for NTU Door Access Control System (DACS)
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items
• Support documentation, filing, and data entry for DACS
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and NTU counterparts on scheduling and logistics
• Provide 1st level response to enquiries/requests through NTU service portal for access changes
• Maintain proper documentation
• Support any ad-hoc administrative duties assigned

• Provide Level 2 technical support for IMACS systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, and backend IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network).
• Support installation, testing, commissioning & configure network devices such as workstations, routers, and switches. Maintain system components in accordance with project and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose basic hardware, software, and local area network (LAN) incidents and system faults, including root cause analysis and escalation to Level 3 or vendors when required.
• Respond efficiently to automated alerts and fault calls, performing initial troubleshooting and escalation within defined operational timelines.
• Support corrective, preventive, and request maintenance activities in line with ITSM processes and SLA commitments.
• Perform server/VM administration health monitoring (production and DR environments) PTRG, Server disk space etc.
• Support implementation, migration, and system upgrades, including preparation of implementation plans, migration plans, and rollback procedures.
• Support in conducting testing and commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT, and ensure defects are rectified prior to acceptance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Maintenance Managers, and stakeholders to coordinate site activities, schedules, and issue resolution.
• Participate in incident, problem, change management processes and change request.
• Ensure accurate documentation and audit compliance, including: Work instructions / SOPs, As-built documentation & Service reports and incident logs.
• Support high availability operations by ensuring systems meet uptime, resilience, and disaster recovery (DR) requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of assigned projects in security systems such as CCTV Surveillance System, Intrusion Detection System, Electronics Access Control System, Audio/Video Intercom System, etc.
• Responsible for the implementation of installation, testing and commissioning of the security systems as per customer requirements within budget and delivery schedule commitments.
• Attend site meetings to monitor status of projects.
• To liaise with Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors, Interior Designers, etc to provide accurate feedback on the progress of works, technical compliance to specifications and variation claims.
• Procurement of materials and delivery to site in a timely manner in accordance to site progress and within project’s budget.
• Conduct detailed training to customers on the operational use of the installed, security systems.
• Ensure subcontractors on-site perform the work in accordance with the approved drawings and instructions as appropriate.
• Ensure shop drawings, floor plan drawings and single line diagrams are correctly updated for each project before handing over to Maintenance Department.
• Respond to and manage customer feedback/complaints and take corrective/preventive action.
• Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on progress reports, forecasts, technical problems encountered, etc.

Experiences & Skills

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, IT Computer Science / networking related or related fields with 2 years of working experience.
