Monitoring on-site project / construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
Preparing & reviewing of method statements and work specific quality control plans.
Ensuring that machineries/ equipment / materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality.
Conducting weekly site progress meetings.
Coordinating in overall administration and project execution plans with Subcontractors, Project Team & Project Managers.
Handling relationship management with Statutory Authorities for availing mandatory sanctions and claims.
Preparing Work Breakdown Structure, Project Summary Schedule, Project Control Schedule and Construction Schedule.
Leading & training the work force on coordinating and administering the subcontracts.
Executing contracting works and approving Contractors & Consultant Bills.
Involving in vendor analysis and their selection based on technical and financial competencies.
Coordinating activities like tendering & bid management, estimations, techno-commercial evaluations, contract negotiations etc.
Ensuring the works performed at site are in accordance with the details provided as per the contract specifications and conditions of contract for construction by employer.
Helping Senior Quantity Surveyor in the tendering process from floating of bids to awarding of contracts; coordinating with contractors with regard to techno-commercial negotiations.
Liaising with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors & external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals and obtaining statutory clearances.
Reviewing progress of subcontracts and apprising management on financial, legal or technical issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
A recognized Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of practical working experience, with at least 5 years in Construction Management on Chimney Plants with a Main Contractor.
Certificate in Construction Safety Course.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage time effectively, analyze complex situations, and present solutions clearly.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a positive work attitude.
A proven team player with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse, multi-functional, and multicultural project teams.
