We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Interior Design Manager to lead full-scale interior design and execution projects, with a strong focus on design realisation, full-house customisation, and project delivery excellence.
This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong design + production + management experience, capable of bridging design concepts with actual site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end interior design projects (residential: HDB, condo, landed)
- Oversee full-house customisation workflow (design → detailing → production → installation)
- Develop and review space planning, cabinetry systems, and material specifications
- Ensure design feasibility and alignment with site conditions and construction methods
- Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, carpentry workshops, and suppliers
- Manage design standardisation, workflow optimisation, and quality control systems
- Handle client presentations, design approvals, and high-end client communication
- Monitor project progress, variation orders (VO), and cost control
- Mentor and lead design team to improve efficiency and delivery quality
- Contribute to design system structuring and potential AI-assisted design workflows
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of interior design experience, with strong background in full-house customisation / cabinetry systems
- Proven experience in design management, team leadership, and project delivery
- Strong knowledge of design-to-production workflow (especially carpentry & built-in systems)
- Hands-on experience in site coordination and construction detailing
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (or equivalent tools)
- Strong understanding of material systems, space planning, and design logic
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams
- Good communication skills and client-facing experience
Preferred (Highly Valued)
- Experience in large design firms / systemised design environments
- Exposure to design standardisation, workflow systems, or process optimisation
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools / design data structuring / annotation
- Experience managing high-value residential or landed projects
