As a Data Center AutoCAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with our engineering teams to help out our growing infrastructure needs and show your work through your command of your AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities:

● Design and create layouts of data center infrastructure including facilities structure, cabinets, overhead ladders and raceways, structured cabling, aisles (hot & cold), cabinets, mechanical, electrical, servers, storage, and networking equipment.

● Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure the scalability and efficiency of our data center environment.

● Monitor and optimize the performance of data center infrastructure components to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and business requirements.

● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with cross- functional teams as needed.

● Implement and maintain security measures to protect data center assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

● Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal impact on ongoing operations.

● Document configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

● Stay abreast of the latest developments in data center technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.

● Utilize AutoCAD design experience to create detailed technical drawings and models for data center layouts and infrastructure components.

Requirements:

● Strong knowledge of data center architecture along with the minimum design requirements for a network, compute, and storage racks as well as layers 2/3 and virtualization platforms

● Proven experience in a colocation, inside plant, or telecommunications facilities engineer or similar role in a large-scale data center or telecom environment.

● Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices in data centers and colocation facilities.

● Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure as well as cloud-native applications, preferably with demonstrable experience in helping scale the overall global footprint of a geographically diverse production network

● Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP, Autodesk Certified Professional) would be a plus.

● Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts and infrastructure components.

The Network Operations Engineer III is a senior-level role that focuses on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both optical and IP networks. This position demands a high degree of independence, accuracy, and attention to detail. The engineer will address a wide range of complex network issues, working on diverse problems with minimal supervision.

This role requires a deep understanding of optical and IP networking, hardware technologies, and network management tools.

Scope: 

• Resolve a wide range of network issues creatively and effectively.

• Monitor the performance and health of optical and IP networks using advanced network management tools.

• Tackle diverse and complex problems, applying sound judgment and innovative solutions.

• Operate with minimal guidance on daily tasks, requiring only general instructions for new assignments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime and service disruptions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Network Management:

• Manage and optimize hardware technologies to maintain network performance and capacity.

• Engage in day-to-day troubleshooting, working with multiple vendor equipment, and resolving various software and hardware issues.

Issue Resolution:

• Address network traffic issues and respond to queries raised by XFNs and partners.

• Collaborate with XFNs and vendors to resolve network-related problems promptly and effectively.

• Conduct root cause analysis for network outages, providing detailed reports and solutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with service providers, colocation facilities, and XFNs globally, ensuring seamless network operations.

• Support network infrastructure projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams on new network initiatives.

Additional Duties:

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 8 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven experience in optical networking (DWDM, CWDM) and IP networking (IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF).

• Strong judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining network solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of fiber-optic technology, including cable types,connector types, optic types, patch panels, and optical transport technologies.

• Experience in preparing root cause analysis reports for network and server outages.

• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively working with global service providers, colocation facilities, and ISPs.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment.

• Relevant network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, OCA, orequivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver data centre operations support across multiple data centres

• Respond to all alarms/alerts set in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), Server Automation Operations System (SAOS), CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and other functions (EHS, Security, etc),

• Provide deep understanding and intelligence of the criticality and impact of the incidents to the resolver groups.

• Ensure detailed records of alarm handling activities, including actions taken, resolutions in ticketing tools and file incident reports.

• Be available to coordinate as an incident commander in event of an issue.

• Support program managers and facilitate project deliverables, improve overall operational and engineering initiatives.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to determine recurring problems to their source.

• Employ in-depth questioning and analysis techniques such as five whys to determine the underlying cause of the incident or problem.

• Handle ticketing system

• Perform duties in compliance with SOP.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology.

• 2 years+ experience in command center, service center, or similar 24x7 operations center environment

• Ability to quickly triage multiple incidents and assign the right priority based on risk and confidence levels

• Knowledge of technical elements associated with systems such as IP Networks, DC Environment and Server Health.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required, work with minimal direction, meeting goals, attention to details and an eye for continuous improvements

• Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Data Center/IDF/MDF Smart Hands Support Engineers (L1 & L2) to join our dynamic team. As a Smart Hands Engineer, candidates will be responsible for providing remote and on-site technical support for our critical data center infrastructure, including IDF/MDF rooms. Techs will perform a range of tasks, from basic troubleshooting and equipment handling to more complex issue resolution and project implementation.

This role requires a strong understanding of data center environments, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Willingness to travel locally within Singapore and internationally across APAC.

Responsibilities:

• L1 & L2 Support: Provide first and second-level technical support for data center infrastructure, including servers, network devices, storage systems, power infrastructure (UPS, PDUs), and environmental monitoring systems.

• Remote Hands Support: Execute remote instructions from senior network engineers, including server reboots, basic troubleshooting steps, and equipment configuration changes.

• On-Site Support: Perform on-site tasks such as equipment installation, racking and stacking, cabling, visual inspections, and component replacements.

• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Escalate complex issues to L3 engineers or vendors as needed.

• Monitoring & Alerting: Monitor data center infrastructure for performance and availability, responding to alerts and notifications in a timely manner.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including trouble tickets, incident reports, and equipment inventory.

• Preventative Maintenance: Participate in preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of data center equipment.

• Vendor Management: Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate equipment repairs and replacements.

• Project Support: Assist with data center projects, such as new equipment deployments, upgrades, and expansions.

• Adherence to Procedures: Follow established procedures and best practices for data center operations and safety.

• IDF/MDF Management: Maintain and support IDF/MDF rooms, including cable management, environmental monitoring, and equipment organization.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• L1: 0-2 years of experience in a data center or IT support environment. Freshers with relevant technical certifications are encouraged to apply.

L2: 2-5 years of experience in a data center or IT support environment with demonstrable L2 support capabilities.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), storage systems, power infrastructure, and environmental monitoring systems.

• Experience with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies.

• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
