• Lead the engineering efforts on large-scale LNG and oil/gas projects, ensuring the design, procurement, and construction phases meet the required technical specifications.

Minimum Competence Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects, with significant exposure to EPC projects.

Project Oversight:

• Be the System Owner for all subsystems throughout the project.
• Resolve any issues from the start of the project (engineering phase) until final handover.

Leadership Support:

• Assist the Project Manager and Engineering Manager in providing leadership, ensuring team performance aligns with project goals and timelines.
• Manage and supervise the performance of project activities, ensuring smooth collaboration between various teams.

Engineering & Project Monitoring:

• Interact and update the company on all upcoming project activities, including:
• Engineering progress: Ensure progress in system design and engineering.
• Issue resolution: Actively address and resolve issues related to the project.
• Mechanical Completion: Oversee mechanical verification of the system.
• Commissioning: Manage commissioning activities and maintain schedules

System Handover:

Documentation & Reporting:

• Oversee RFSU verification (Ready for Start-Up), PSSR completion (Pre-Start-Up Safety Review), and ensure system performance testing is conducted effectively.
• Ensure the timely completion of project documentation, such as engineering updates, verification reports, and completion certifications.

Qualifications

Electrical Design &Project Management:

• Lead electrical engineeringactivities, ensuring all designs align with global standards and localregulations (such as SS638, SS555, SS650, CP/89A) for energy, power, and safetysystems.

System Design &Implementation:

·        Oversee the development anddelivery of essential electrical systems, including power distribution (MV/LV),transformers, switchboards, motors, and lightning protection systems.

Regulatory Compliance &Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with ProfessionalEngineers (PE), Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW), and local authorities tomake sure all work follows Singapore’s safety and regulatory requirements.

Installation & TestingOversight:

• Manage the safe installation,testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet projectspecifications and operate as intended.

Engineering Studies &Risk Assessment:

• Lead electrical studies (e.g., loadflow, short circuit analysis, protection coordination) and participate insafety reviews (e.g., HAZOP) to ensure system reliability and safety.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in LNG and/or oil & gas projects.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on electrical and lightning systems in Singapore.

Certifications & Technical Skills

• Valid COMPEX Certification (Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, and 12).
• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards and hazardous area requirements.

• Design,develop, and implement electrical systems for LNG and oil/gas projects.
• Ensureall electrical designs comply with Singaporean electrical standards, includingSS638, SS555, SS650 and Electrical 89A.
• Work onMV/LV transformers, switchboards, motors and earthing systems design.
• Preparetechnical documentation, including calculations, specifications, drawings, andreports.
