Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven, strategic, and dynamic Distribution Sales Manager to be based in our Singapore office. This pivotal role carries two primary objectives: directing and expanding our channel partner ecosystem across the ASEAN region, and acting as the dedicated Key Account Manager (KAM) for one of our highest-value, strategic customers in ASEAN.

The successful candidate will focus on maximizing channel revenue, managing distributor pipelines, and simultaneously embedding Amphenol deep within a premier key account to secure long-term design-wins and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Partner Management (ASEAN)

• Channel Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution sales strategy for the ASEAN territory to meet and exceed revenue and design-win targets.
• Partner Management: Manage, support, and evaluate key supply chain and regional distribution partners ensuring strict alignment with Amphenol's corporate objectives.
• Inventory & Supply Chain: Collaborate closely with channel partners to monitor demand fluctuations, implement effective buffer stock strategies, and mitigate inventory risks.
• Sales Enablement: Conduct regular product training and business reviews with distributor sales and engineering teams to ensure they are fully equipped to promote Amphenol's solutions.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee the channel sales funnel, tracking point-of-sale (POS) data and managing design registration programs to protect partner investments.

Key Account Management (Strategic Customer)

• Account Growth & Penetration: Act as the primary commercial and strategic point of contact for one of ASEAN’s premier key accounts, managing the entire relationship to maximize market share.
• Design-In Leadership: Establish deep relationships with the customer’s R&D, procurement, and quality engineering teams to drive "design-in" activities for next-generation platforms.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with internal Product Managers, Global Account Directors, and Business Unit general managers to deliver tailored interconnect proposals, custom solutions, and optimized pricing.
• Commercial Execution: Negotiate corporate commercial terms, pricing agreements, master supply agreements, and non-disclosure agreements directly with the key customer.
• Forecast Accuracy: Maintain highly accurate demand forecasting and capacity planning models for this account to guarantee flawless supply continuity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 7+ years of progressive sales experience in the electronic components, interconnect, or semiconductor industry. Minimum of 3 years specifically focused on regional channel/distribution management alongside proven experience managing multi-million dollar OEM/Tier-1 key accounts.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the ASEAN electronics manufacturing ecosystem, distribution networks, and regional OEM landscapes.
• Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex POS data, forecast demand, negotiate large-scale commercial contracts, and develop strategic buffer stock frameworks.
• Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the ASEAN region to conduct distribution business reviews and lead face-to-face strategic key account meetings.

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Sales Analyst at Amphenol FCI Asia Pte Ltd is responsible for sales data analysis, reporting, strategy development, and performance evaluation. Key duties include data collection, trend analysis, sales forecasting, report creation, communication with stakeholders, and staying updated on industry trends.

MAINDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:

Data Collection and Analysis:

• Gather and analyze sales data from various sources (e.g. spreadsheets, reports).
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales performance.
• Perform simple analysis and forecasting to predict future sales.
• Ensure data integrity by validating sources, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining data governance/definitions for KPIs.

Reporting and Communication:

• Create and maintain regular sales reports and dashboards.
• Present data interpretations and insights to stakeholders.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to sales teams and management.
• Standardize reporting cadence and automate recurring reports to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Translate complex data into clear executive summaries, insights, and actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Support CRM and pipeline reporting by defining required fields, monitoring hygiene/accuracy, and coaching users on reporting standards as needed.

 Sales Strategy Development:

• Identify opportunities for improving sales efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support territory/account planning by analyzing white space, account potential, coverage models, and route-to-market effectiveness.
• Assist in sales incentive/commissionreporting and performance tracking, ensuring alignment to plan rules and targetsetting.

Sales Performance Evaluation:

• Evaluate sales representatives' performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales success.
• Monitor pipeline health and funnel KPIs (coverage, aging, stage conversion, forecast accuracy) and flag risks/opportunities early.
• Prepare materials for business reviews.

Sales Operations and Process Improvement:

• Own and maintain sales operating metrics and definitions, ensuring consistent measurement across the region.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., standard templates, workflow streamlining, reduced manual work).
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain on forecast inputs, demand planning assumptions, and alignment to cycles where applicable.
• Support sales systems master data and setup (accounts, hierarchy, product mapping) in partnership with relevant system owners.

Staying Informed:

• Keep abreast of technological innovations and industry best practices.
• Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities. 

EDUCATION  (Qualifications obtained in the course of formal education and/or training):

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics)

EXPERIENCE& KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• 3 years experience with analysis and sales support
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory changes.
