Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Construction Manager to lead site operations, coordinate teams, and ensure construction projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities and personnel to ensure efficient project execution
- Ensure all construction works comply with project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones on time
- Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Identify and resolve site issues by providing effective technical and logistical solutions
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and project requirements
- Utilize project management software and maintain accurate construction documentation to support project tracking and reporting
- Manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet project demands
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience managing HDB or large-scale building projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through managing complex construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to large-scale building projects
