Job Description

This position involves working on a project related to the coordination of large teams of autonomous robots (e.g., UAVs) in mixed cooperative-competitive environments. The Research Assistant will support the development, simulation, testing, and implementation of collaborative control algorithms for multi-agent robotic systems, under the guidance of the PI and senior researchers. The work will first focus on simulation studies and may later involve hardware experiments with project partners. Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for developing printable inks based on natural material-derived precursors, such as natural materials-derived calcium phosphate, or related biomineral materials. The work will involve optimizing ink rheology, printability, shape fidelity, and structural stability for extrusion-based 3D printing. The candidate will also design and fabricate porous scaffold architectures with controlled pore size, porosity, and interconnectivity, while optimizing printing parameters such as nozzle size, extrusion pressure, printing speed, and layer height.

A key part of the project will involve post-processing and material conversion of the printed constructs. The candidate will develop and optimize sintering or thermal treatment protocols to convert printed structures into bone-relevant ceramic phases. Through this process, the candidate will help tune the phase composition and mechanical performance of the scaffolds, with the goal of producing reproducible and scalable bone implant prototypes.

Job Description

The GEMs Lab at NUS is seeking a few highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to work on the CVD growth two-dimensional (2D) materials. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-quality synthesis techniques for 2D materials and their integration into next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to conduct independent research while collaborating across disciplines and contributing to high-impact publications in leading international journals. The successful candidate will gain valuable expertise in cutting-edge technologies and work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary research environment.

Qualifications

•    Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
•    Strong background in 2D materials growth (CVD).
•    Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
•    Strong communication and writing skills in English.
•    Less than 3 years of work experience after obtaining a PhD degree.

Research assistant in “Quantum computing engineer”

The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team led by Prof. Marek Gluza at NTU Singapore is seeking a new member to propose new quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quantum compilation optimizing towards successful execution on quantum hardware.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or related field

• At least 1 years of relevant experiences in research on quantum computing, e.g. final year project

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Proficiency in material covered by Nielsen and Chuang’s textbook

• Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational and time management skills.
