About the role

The Data Quality Management Lead defines and delivers Rest’s enterprise data quality vision, objectives and roadmap. The role leads delivery to uplift data literacy and maturity, ensure Rest meets compliance and data quality risk obligations, and embed processes that support good‑practice data quality. The Data Quality Delivery team is responsible for: -

• Driving the data quality vision and roadmap
• Implementing data quality best practices at Rest
• Protecting Rest’s most important data assets (Critical Data Elements)
• Uplifting the data quality knowledge and skills of our people

What you'll do 

• Lead and maintain the data quality capability roadmap with key data stakeholders.
• Embed data quality management into the delivery and maintenance of enterprise data assets through fit‑for‑purpose tools and processes.
• Build and support data communities of practice and uplift data literacy across Rest.
• Own the evaluation and selection of data quality tools, informed by business needs and market trends.
• Design and maintain operational processes for identifying, prioritising and monitoring Critical Data Elements.
• Partner with the Data Governance Lead to embed data quality and governance into key data delivery processes (e.g. Data Design Authority).
• Oversee data quality management and ongoing governance for prioritised CDEs on Rest’s strategic data platform.
• Work effectively within agile ways of working.

Since the introduction of this revolutionary technology 30 years ago, Digital Control has been at the forefront of trenchless technologies that enable the efficient distribution of underground utilities, fiber optic, telecom, gas, sewer and water lines. Our products are used around the world by distribution contractors and are valued for their durable design, ease of use and Digital Control’s uncompromising commitment to customer service.  

Our team is expanding in the SEA Region.  We are looking for a great HDD specialist who wants to work for the HDD industry leader in locating technologies. This role will be located in Manilla, Philippines with travel to assigned SEA regions. 

• Language skills: English and Chinese, additional languages are a plus 
• Must be able to sell value, negotiate, and analyze customer needs. 
• Effective at juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing work to meet the needs of all resellers, contractors/drillers and other customers in the territory. 
• Demonstrates great working knowledge of technical equipment operations, and aptitude to become an expert in advanced HDD locating techniques, theory and application. 
• Excellent presentation skills to train audiences of various sizes. Demonstrates an engaging style to help others learn. 
• Demonstrates great communications skills to effectively communicate technical and market information to various audiences including drillers, senior leaders and everyone in between. 
• Possess strong critical thinking skills including troubleshooting, problem analysis and good judgment/decision making. 
• Inquisitive about troubleshooting DCI equipment and usage to determine root causes and effective solutions. 
• Demonstrates effective collaboration and innovation with the field team and across all other functions within the company. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. 
• Ability to communicate in German or even additional language a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Customer Service or outside/field sales. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge of the trenchless technology industry required. 
• Demonstrates unwavering business ethics and ability to effectively manage proprietary product information. 
• Be able to travel within the territory up to 50%. 
• Able to navigate physical requirements of working in construction sites. 
• Ability to use a customer database or ERP system.

Compensation

• DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basis.
• Profit sharing bonus: Over the last 3 years, quarterly bonuses ranged between 10% and 18%. Future bonuses could be higher or lower depending on company profits.

Lead Compliance Across APAC and Shape the Future of Fintech

You'll lead regulatory compliance across 10 APAC markets, partnering with senior leaders to enable growth, expansion, and innovation in a fast-scaling fintech environment. You'll work at the intersection of regulation and commercial strategy, ensuring compliance enables growth rather than slows it down.

This is a senior leadership role combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution, working closely with senior leaders, regulators, banks, and internal teams across APAC.

What You'll be doing

• You will lead regulatory compliance across 10 APAC markets, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea and more.
• You will monitor and assess regulatory, legislative, and industry developments across the payments and fintech landscape translating emerging risks and opportunities into clear advice for the business
• You will design and execute licensing strategies across key jurisdictions, securing approvals that unlock new revenue opportunities, and overseeing the maintenance of existing regulatory licenses, registrations and approvals.
• You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, Third Party Relations and Risk teams to embed compliance into business processes, platform design, and go-to-market activities.
• You will lead regulatory engagement and maintain strong relationships with regulators, acquiring banks, schemes, financial institutions, and external advisors.
• You will provide market expansion support advising on regulatory due diligence as Xplor enters new markets and launches new payment methods
• You will oversee regulatory reporting, audits, examinations, and remediation activities.
• You will also lead and develop a specialist APAC compliance team, creating a high-performing function that scales with the business, and will interact with key stakeholders in the USA, UK/EEA and other jurisdictions as well as APAC.
• You will act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on compliance and regulatory strategy.

Location: Remote within Australia, with a preference for Sydney-based candidates and full Australian working rights.

What You’ll Do 

Step into a high-impact role at the heart of our People Services team, where you will lead governance and compliance across People & Culture operations, with a focus on payroll compliance.  The People & Culture Compliance Specialist will ensure our processes and policies not only meet legislative requirements but also support our people and business to thrive.  

This role is 12-month maximum term contract role offering a hybrid work opportunity where you will be required to work across our Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices as well as some work from home.   

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Implement the P&C Compliance Framework and ensure completion of control assessments and self-assessment reporting. 
• Work closely with the General Manager Industrial Relations, People Operations & Compliance and the Employee Relations team to understand legislation and requirements and ensure P&C policies adhere to legislation.  
• Ensure that P&C processes and systems adhere to legislation and P&C policies, monitoring changes in legislation and updating processes and policies where required. 
• Implement the Payroll Compliance Strategy and Payroll Review Plan.  
• Take end-to-end responsibility for annual payroll risk-based reviews, including payroll data extraction, payroll rule interpretation, variance calculations and remediation. 
• Document agreed payroll rule interpretation in Award/EA rule books and support payroll audit work as required.  
• Promote a culture of payroll compliance, ethical behaviour and accountability across the function.  
• Build strong stakeholder and communication management to foster good relationships across the business.  
• Develop business acumen across NRMA’s core business and actively participate in internal team development activities. 

What You'll Bring 

• 3+ years’ experience within a role with compliance focus, coupled with tertiary qualification   
• 5+ years’ experience within a payroll officer / auditor role 
• Ability to navigate and use payroll systems to extract pay rules, data and to undertake payroll remediation work 
• Solid understanding of compliance principles 
• Advanced investigative skills  
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail  
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills   
• Developed written and verbal communication skills  
• Exposure and understanding of People / HR systems (desirable)
